1 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2003 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 11/17/2014

My airbag lite has been turning off and on at different times. . Eg. Lite turns on and is on for about 15 to 20 seconds then turns off. Now, 11/17/2014 when I started to drive it, the light went on and has stayed on ever since when the ignition is on. I wanted to take it to the dealership where I purchased the car new but they are out of business. Today on fox news I headr where they are having some trouble with seat belts on different cars. Would like to know what I should do. I love the car and want to keep it. I haven't had any problem with it. It has been great!! please advise me what I should do. Thank you. Respectfully, forrest stewart.

2 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2008 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 10/18/2013

I replaced a blown 10 amp fuse on a dealer installed trailer wiring harness adapter. 15-20 minutes later I noticed a fire coming from driver's side rear light assembly. Removed fuse, removed lighting assembly, put out fire. In looking at damage, trailer harness adapter was melted along with several wires attached to it. Foam bumper padding caught fire and was melted. No visible body damage.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2006 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 02/03/2010

When driving 2006 kia Sedona van, gas pedal sticks inside the rubber mat causing the vehicle to accelerate. Rubber mats were purchased from kia. Rubber mat comes off the floor post which causes the mat to slip forward. I am concerned for the safety of myself and family. Occurs every time adjustable pedals are positioned farthest to the floor when husband drives the vehicle because he is tall. Kia dealer offered to put a screw in the mat but that was not satisfactory to me as this vehicle was purchased new and the "screw" does not seem to be a permanent fix to this problem. This does not occur with the cloth mats because they are thinner. But the rubber mats are thicker and post is too short which caused the mat to slip off.
