I was in a very serious accident on August 7th, at 10:30 am while driving in the middle lane of the mass pike rt. 90 framingham, mass. I thought my kia sehpia was in accelent condition, but while I was driving in the middle lane, the steering wheel and column started shaking and I could not steer the vehicle. I tried to keep the vehicle in the lane but could not control the steering. The car screeched and was pulling to the right. To my immediate right was a large ryder rental truck, I braced myself and hit the left front end of the truck. The rest is a blur, I spun around and the rear of my car hit the guard rail and I fortunately stopped in the breakdown lane. It happened so fast, but what is most upsetting, I don't know what happened. I'm not sure if it was a steering column problem or a tire problem. All I know is, I was driving safetly and then my car when out off control. The right front of my vechicle was severly damaged, and my passenger side air bag did not deploy.

The dashboard on this year vehicle starts to curl and is heading towards the passenger side airbag which may pop and cause injuries or fatalities. The dashboard also breaks the plastic vents which then does not distribute the air on the defroster properly which then could also cause fatalities or injuries.

The Sephia was hit at an angle on the right front corner at about 30 miles per hour. The airbags deloyed and the passenger side airbag and wiring immedeatly caught on fire. The cabin filled with dust from the bags and smoke. The power windows did not work at that point. The driver could not see the door handle. Someone opened the door to let her out. A passenger had recently exited the car or the accident could have been much worse. The driver side airbag delpoyed and went down so fast that the drivers head was jerked back and let drop so that it did not reduce the whiplash signifacantly.

When vehicle crashed into the rear of a Dodge, dakota, traveling 45 mph, there was no deployment of driver's side or passenger's side air bags. Not sure if the vehicle was totalled. Please provide any further information.

The right side air bag failed. Yh.

Both passenger and driver side air bags deployed while the consumers vehicle was parked overnight in the garage. Nlm.

While driving on road, traveling 55mph and up, ahead there was an accident. The vehicle in front stopped to look at the accident that already accurred. Driver wasn't paying attention and rear ended vehicle in front. Driver's side airbag didn't deploy.

When consumer's vehicle crashed into the passenger's side of another vehicle, there was no deployment of the driver's side or passenger's side air bags. Vehicle was traveling about 10-15 mph when crash happened. Vehicle has been repaired. Also, brake rotors have been replaced twice , once at 3,000 miles, and again at 6,000 or 7,000 miles. However, brake rotors need to be replaced again.

While driving at 25 mhp and trying to avoid another vehicle from hitting consumer's vehicle, consumer lost control of the vehicle and hit some trees, brushes and a big boulder. Upon impact, driver's side air bag didn't deploy.

Consumer was traveling about 35mph on the highway and another vehicle cut into consumer's lane, and veered into consumer's vehicle broadside. Upon impact, driver's side airbag didn't go off. Also airbag light was always on.

The vehicle rear ended another vehicle at 20 to 25mph, and neither driver's side nor passenger's side airbags deployed. Dealer has not seen vehicle.

Vehicle was placed in off position, and driver's side/passenger side air bags deployed without a cause, also driver's side and passenger's side seat belts did not stay locked in housing mechanism. In addition, having problems with faulty brakes. Upon stopping brakes were making a loud noise, sounded like metal to metal. Consumer has contacted dealer. Dashboard has come apart. Also, seals around airbag on passenger's side has lifted up, exposing parts underneath. Heater vent on dash has cracked, causing heater to become inoperative.

No deployment of passenger and driver side air during accident. Nlm.
