Warning Problems of Kia Motor Telluride

I’m writing to report an ongoing issue with my vehicle’s windshield washer system. The washer fluid is not dispensing properly, and as a result, the windshield is not being cleared effectively while driving. This creates a safety concern, especially in poor weather conditions or when road debris accumulates on the windshield. The reduced visibility makes it difficult to drive safely and confidently. I have already taken the vehicle in for service regarding this issue. However, I was informed that nothing is wrong with the system and that it is performing the same as a new vehicle. Despite this, the washer fluid output still appears insufficient and continues to create visibility concerns while driving.

Turned car on to go to work and cluster infotainment screen with speedometer and gas gage was blank.

My entire instrument cluster/dashboard display is blank. I cannot see my speed, how fast I am going, collision warnings, if my lights are on, etc. I have called the dealership, and they indicated there is no active recall. They said they cannot diagnose and fix the issue for a month. This is a major safety issue, since I have no indication of my speed or gas or anything else. It is all controlled by the dash that is blank.

The lcd screen in the instrument cluster/combimeter went blank. The lcd display contains information such as digital speedometer, gear selection, odometer, distance-to-empty, and all adas information. Problem cannot be reproduced. The phenomena has only presented itseld twice (11/2023 and 3/2024). Certified kia dealer stated there weren't any signs of failure. Service proceeded to perform a hard restart on the system. There is a similar recall for this phenomena (21v577000).

While driving the kia Telluride, the forward collision avoidance warnings started flashing, then said it was failing, then the tire pressure system did the same, then the speedometer and tachometer failed as did the turn signals, gear shift, and lights. The car was becoming unsafe to drive. The car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now, the dealer changed the cluster assembly-instrument at at cost of $2600. Within 1/2 of leaving the dealership the same problem noted above began happening, again making the car unsafe to drive. In researching on line at the kiatelluride forum there have been a large number of similar unsafe occurrences by other kia Tellurides as reported by owners. This is a serious safety problem that has been noted numerous times. (I can't get my images of the 2 page dealer invoice for cluster assembly-instrument $2600 that did not solve the problem to download on this form. ).

The driver attention warning (daw), specifically the 'take a break' alert is too sensitive and persistent, without the option to disable. The 'take a break' alert both displays a message and emits an audible alert (5 or so dings). The alert occurs too frequently, no matter who is driving, which is a distraction in itself. The warning has increased in frequency over time. There is no known way to disable, re-calibrate, or reset this alert as in previous models. While intended to be a safety 'feature' it is the exact opposite as it is an additional distraction and removes the driver's attention when acknowledging the overly sensitive dash warning.

On my wished a small object hit my windshield on the passenger side and within an hour it spread more by the best day it was almost on the driver side of the windshield. Second, the forward collision and lane departure lights came on. I took the SUV to kia they said it was an issue with the camera and they where going to order the part and replace it for me. It seem I was not the only one with this issue.

Our windshield cracked and the dealership is refusing to replace it without charging us over $1300.
