Takata recall. We received a recall for this airbag on may 2016. Fast forward to March 2017 and a remedy for this recall Is finally available!! when I called my authorized Lexus dealer in concord, CA I was told that I'll be put on a waiting list until the parts are available. I was told it could take 2-3 weeks. What's the point of advising their customers that a remedy Is available if the dealership Is not prepared to fix the Issue when we've been waiting almost a year for a resolution!!.

Takata recall I have been calling the Lexus dealers here in texas for almost a year after getting the recall letter and they still do not have parts for the airbag. In the mean time, someone could be killed sitting in my passenger seat. I have grandkids that I transport to school and athletic activities. My car Is almost 8 years old and I live in a high humid state. I have even talked to corporate from Lexus and they have no answers or remedies and no timeline as when my car will be fixed. This looks like a lawsuit in the making.
Takata recall I am in zone b and my car Is approaching its ten year mark. I took my car in today and asked the sales assistant if there were any updates about the airbag recall and he told me, "no". What Is supposed to save me in an accident can now kill me. I am very disappointed in the amount of time this has taken and the response to consumer concern. Please put pressure on Toyota and takata to fix our airbags.
Tamara recall: would be very beneficial to know the ecact date the air bag fix will be available. Current uncertainty as to whether an air bag explosion will occur Is unsettling.

Takata recall. This recall Is taking too long and there Is no resolution date proposed. I am trying to trade-in or sell my vehicle and receive offers $4000 or more less then kbb value. I don't want to use the vehicle especially with a front seat passenger. The rear seats are not convenient in the Is250c model as it Is a two door and the rear seats offer a cramped space for passengers.
Takata recall: I was informed of the recall and contacted my dealer. The recall stated clearly that no one should ride in the passenger seat! this Is our only car and we are responsible for two grandchildren that have car seats. We now effectively have no mode of safe transportation. Lexus tells us nothing. I called to inquire about a loaner car and they said they did not have anything available. It appears that it may be a long time before the dealers have the replacement parts. I live in houston, texas where the most severe weather has affected this part. I am hoping that your department can assist by asking the dealer to loan a car, move us to the top of the replacement list and/or offer a settlement to offeset the loss we would have to take to sell the carl. I have been contacting Lexus of orlando in orlando florida since August last year for them to complete recall but continued telling me that they do not have the parts to complete the recall estimated time for parts to arrive was around December of 2016. . . It Is now March of 2017 and they are still unable to supply a safe airbag for my vehicle.
Takata recall bought this car from carmax and was aware there was a recall for the airbags. We were told to contact the company and we could have them replaced at a Lexus dealership. Every time I go online to see if the airbags are available I get a message stating "recall incomplete, remedy not yet available. " I have been trying to get this taken care of since August, this Is now November. Getting fed-up!.
Received notice of recall with no remedy, telling me not to operate vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat, this Is impossible with 3 children and this Is only car. They need to provide me a loaner vehicle until they have a remedy. I need immediate solution.

Takata recall; I want this taken care of! I just found out about the recall because I went to trade my car in for a new one. I cannot afford the new one now, but I drive my grandchildren around every day. No one told me about this and I am livid. I have my oil changed every 5,000 miles at the local Lexus dealership so my information Is definitely on file. Does someone have to die for Lexus to take care of this??? the lawsuits you will be paying for will be far greater than if they just hire extra people to take care of all these cars.
Takata recall: I received a recall notice months ago stating that they have no remedy for this at this time but that no one should be sitting in the passenger seat or they may die. When are they going to offer a solution? it's not a solution to tell someone not to use the passenger seat in a 2 door convertible! I just want Toyota to be responsible and fix this.

Takata recall I received a recall notice may 2016 and currently still no resolution very inconvenient not being able to have a passenger how long do I have to wait.
Nhtsa recall # 16v-340 I was informed in writing over 6 months ago. Nothing further has happened since. The air bags should be replaced immediately if defective! I'm filing a complaint that Lexus Is taking too long. Based on attached screenshot, their excuse "recall status: recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available" not acceptable.
Lexus (Toyota) Is not do anything to ensure rider safety of a car they sold. They are assuming the airbag, when deployed, only hurst the front passenger. Since I carpool and use my car at work, I might have to pay out of pocket to rent a car until this Is fixed. I am stuck since the value of the car Is compromised and I don't think anyone would want to buy it.
Takata recall it has been since may 2016 that Lexus knew that our airbag(s) had been recalled. We were notified with an update on June 9, 2016 that they would fix this but did not have a remedy yet. This was over 6 months ago and we are still unable to have passengers ride in the front seat of our car. This Is extremely disappointing and it Is not acceptable for a remedy to take so long to occur- even if the takata recall affected many vehicles.
I've contacted my dealership, freeman Lexus, numerous times since hearing about the takata recall in June of last year. 9 months later I am still awaiting repair. The first 5 times I called, I was told to call back and check in to see if the airbag replacement parts where in. The last time I was put on a list in order to receive a loaner car. 2 months later and still no repair or loaner. I have a 2008 Lexus Is which was purchased in September of 2007. I live in CA. Based on the projected degradation timeline of 6-9 years, September of 2016 put my at 9 years. I am not satisfied with Lexus lack of timely repair.
Recall fix has taken over 1 year and still does not have a estimated completion date.
Takata recall. We were told by Lexus 8 months ago not to allow anyone to drive in the passengers seat. Since we always ride together we can no longer use the car. It does not make sense that we bought a car this expensive we can no longer use.
Lexus notified me in may 2016 of a recall for takata airbags, but has not taken definitive action to replace my airbag so my car Is safe to drive.
