Coolant Leaking Problems of Lexus RX350

My car never leaked oil, and no sensor lights were on. Regular maintenance was performed on the car. While I was driving on the freeway on cruise control about 70 mph (2,000 rpm) engine suddenly revved up to 3,000-3,500 rpm. I was able to exit the highway within 0. 25 miles, the oil pressure sensor came on at the end of the exit ramp. In my experience, it seems that a large quantity of oil was lost very quickly, and if I had not been able to exit the highway within a matter of seconds the car could have seized up and I could have gotten in an accident.

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that there had been fumes of an oil burning smell and that an oil coolant coil fractured with a hole causing an internal failure which leaked the oil. The contact also indicated that the vehicle was included in a manufacturer recall that they failed to send notification of the recall. The vehicle was towed to the contacts residence. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was checking to determine if there was a recall to provide a solution to repair the vehicle and was uncertain of the vehicle may be repaired.
