I've been getting airbag warnings from Ford via mail for over a year. I made an appt at the Ford svc dept in carson city nv over a year ago. I've made follow up calls but they don't have the right part & cannot / will not repair my car. All I get is paper in the mail & promises.

I am having a really hard time getting this air bag replaced with a local dealership the only dealership in radius. Mtn view Lincoln Ford chattanooga, TN. This is the only vehicle I drive and I advised them I would need a loaner while this repair is being done. The first time I called with a cs representative on the phone they advised me they didn't have a part but could order it. I asked about a loaner the rep told me only the service manager can approve that and I was sent to his desk where I left a message. I didn't receive a call back. (there is a google review regarding my experience). After receiving yet another recall notice last week I dreadfully attempted to schedule an appointment to get this fixed. Which was today at 7:45, last week I expressed again the need for a loaner the guy who answered the phone advised me they had 40 loaners out but he can see what he can do. Today I arrived waited 20 mins and todd comes to my vehicle I advised them what I was there for and he stated there are no loaners but he will give me a call and update me. No one has called me.

A vehicle stopped suddenly in front of me because a car did the same in front of them. I braked suddenly but it felt like my vehicle was being pushed from behind, my steering wheel air bags deployed so did the sides. The air bags deployed before the impact blinding me as I rear ended the car in front. I suffered burns, bruises, neck injuries and lower back pain. I was driving no more than 25-30 miles per hour. My car was a total lost and I had owned it for less than a year.

The heating element in the driver's seat is known to go bad in the 2007 models and I think some 2008 Ford models vehicle also. When I push the electric heat seat button it will turn red for a minute but the heating element will not work in the back or in the seat area of the driver's side. Other people I know have had the same problem with their Ford same here different model and make and have found the solution to be a new wiring harness / connector to replace the factory one apparently one of the wires burnt out from the factory causing it to short. Are videos of this on youtube thank you for any and all help. It started by getting extremely hot and turning off really quick on its own and every time after that turning off quicker and quicker until it would not turn back on only show the red light for a brief minute. . . . . . . . . . I have enclosed pictures information for the airbags on the passenger side that are suggested to be replaced again any help in resolving these problems would be greatly appreciate it thank you for the time.

This going on more than 3 months it seem like there is no urge off urgency putting my family in harms way this vehicle is the main source of transportation need to take my husband to his dr appt at phoenix az and we drive over 200 miles to phoenix az and returned to yuma az. Takata notice and dashboard where airbags are. Fash is splitting and dealer said can't be fixed. Have to order and pay for a new dash. I received a class action notice about airbags. Dealer checked and no recalls I concerned.

Takata recall - at first I was told front passenger seat only should not be used; now latest recall notice says dangerous for driver and passenger because deployment of air bag could cause metal debris to spray occupants. Therefore, I cannot drive and I have not been able to get a rental car from dealer. I need assistance because of my doctor appointments.
