Upon driving down the road, with no aaparent preliminary warnings, a screw fell from under my dash onto my feet. I dismissed it as a dash cover screw and kept driving. Upon reaching my home and trying to put my gearshift into "park", I realize this screw has something to do with the gear shift and linkage. The shifter is now loose and will not go into "park". If I hold it towards the "p" I am able to get my keys out of the ignition. I now have to use my emergency brake and I have to start the car in "neutral". Not a serious issue unless it progresses and the gearshift falls off. I will have it fixed by the dealer tomorrow - just thought you should know about the problem.
