I had my windshield replaced with an oem Lincoln glass at the dealership. Upon receiving the vehicle I noticed that when driving at night all lights are duplicated. The duplicated light eventutally merges with the actual light as you approach in distance. Multiple headlights on a highway are very disorienting and distracting making it hard to focus on driving. I have had the glass replaced a total of 4 times. All with the same problem. I was told there was defective glass that had been made however I have yet to get a piece of glass that is optically reasonable to drive at night. Wanted to report as I'm sure others have a similar problem.

Major rust problems that effect the safety of driving the vehicle. Vehicle will not pass PA state inspection. Hood latch rusted. Possibility of hood opening. Rust holes in rocker panels. Frame cross supports. No enough space to explain. Please see attached pdf.
The vehicle engaged in involuntary acceleration (in reverse) from stationary position right after shifting gears from parking p to reverse r and disengaging the parking brake. The brakes were being applied during this gear change. The car started moving in reverse as soon as the driver let off the brakes. The driver then reapplied the brakes but the vehicle accelerated instead of breaking. More pressure was applied to the brakes but that increased the speed instead of reducing it. The vehicle accelerated from 0 mph to approximately 50 mph and traveled about 100 feet in reverse. The driver was maneuvering the vehicle with the steering wheel while simultaneously applying pressure to the breaks. The driver managed to steer the vehicle up a small grassy hill of about 15 degrees in slope until the vehicle hit a residential concrete wall with the back of the vehicle. At the moment of impact, the vehicle bounced back and the acceleration disappeared with the engine still on. The vehicle then slowly rolled down the hill until it hit a parked car. At that moment, the car stopped and remained stationary. The engine was then turned off. The impact caused damage to the back of the vehicle and to the residential concrete wall. The driver's seat was also damaged. It became loose with the impact and was ejected backwards towards the back seat with the driver still on it. There were no physical injuries to the occupants other than whiplash. A firmware defect of the electronic throttle system is suspected.

Reoccurring brake fluid system. Have had it replaced 3 times already. I have lost three ability to stop my vehicle in may and ended up crashing into a tree while backing up. Constant break fluid spraying on the tires and rim of the front passenger area. Damage to the tail gate area from the tree collision has caused me to have wiring system issues with my back tail light constantly blowing the bulb. Had this repaired twice from joe hudson collision and then soundly by Lincoln dealership in orange park FL.

There wasnt a recall on my airbags per my VIN number however just yesterdaymy vehicle was totaled due to brake failure which upon impact only the passenger side airbag deployed while the driver side didnt. There was no passenger. . .
After turning the steering wheel the steering wheel will not return to center, it must be brought back manually. Second, the rocker panels front and back are rusted out completely and I worry about integrity and safety of the frame.
On October 4, 2017 at approximately 3:45 pm, I departed from the sacramento children's home through an adjacent alley traveling through the south bound entrance. As I made the left turn into the alley as I gradually got up to speed my vehicle suddenly began to accelerate. I was startled by the sudden increase of speed and immediate made an attempt to put the vehicle in neutral and shut the vehicle down and apply the brakes. Before I could make the corrections the vehicle had veered off to the left hand side of the alley and struck an oak tree. To my guess the vehicle was traveling at a rate of speed of about 25-30 mph. On impact I slammed into my motorola speaker that was attached to my sun visor and split my head open which required 8 staples to close.

My car was parked in my driveway. I opened the back hatch to allow my children to load their violins in the back before taking them to school. The hatch suddenly came down quickly on its own, slamming down. It hit my son's arm just as he pulled away from the car. It could have caused him great bodily harm. Every time I push the remote to open the hatch it opens completely then slams back down.
Head on collision on drivers side of front of Navigator; however, only the passenger air bag deployed with no passenger in the seat, only I was driving, but my airbag did not deploy. It seem odd to me.

The running boards of the 2010 Lincoln Navigator malfunctioned at 78000 miles. The automatic running boards began retracting and lowering up and down while vehicle is in motion (at speeds from to 70 mph) and while completely stopped with engine off, making loud grinding sounds. Upon exiting the vehicle on the drivers side the running board retracted while my right foot was still on the board, locking my foot in between the running board and the lower body of the vehicle causing me to fall forward on the pavement in my driveway which is on a semi-steep incline. The running board lowered and I pulled my foot free and it began to lower and raise multiple times making a loud grinding noise. I then had to manually raise the board and shut off the auto function of the running boards to keep this issue from reoccurring. I notified this incident to the local Ford dealer and was told that the only option I had was to replace the motors. I was not informed why this may have occurred nor was I given any options for medical care or concern due to my vehicle being 5 years old and not under any extended warranty.

Vehicle was purchased at marshall bros in new orleans, vehicle was sold as a certified vehicle. Vehicle had to have a new transmission installed 2 months after vehicle purchased. Vehicle was sold with the problem known to dealership. Worker at location stated they knew it and when we purchased vehicle, they insisted on us buying an extended warranty since it was used. Insisted to the point of giving policy at cost, this was due to known problem, transmission case and unit was so badly damaged that it could not have been missed. Previous owner contacted and stated they told dealership of problem. Also since vehicle was owned electrical system has gone haywire, battery not charging periodically, alarm and lights operating on their own, lights staying on, coming on at night, radio staying on dealership stated they could not find anything wrong when brought in for issues, they kept vehicle for three days. Happened several more times, same statement by dealer. I researched problem on internet and discovered TSB's on same problems, but no recall. But tsbs have existed since 2004, dealer knew windshield leaks into computer and moonroof can leak causing same problem, dealership didn't fix anything, then when out of warranty dealership states known issue and fuse panel needs replacing at cost of $4,000 . This should be a recall after my research and since the dealerships are doing everything they can including lying and selling vehicles with known problems. Bbb was contacted and in process of having press involved. Please look at all complaints on issue and make a recall necessary. This is a dangerous problem, vehicles wrecking, putting drivers in dangerous situations.
