Takata recall - this is ridiculous. I cannot use all 7 seats in my 7-passenger vehicle and there is no end in sight. Parts are not available and nobody can give any reasonable estimates of when they will be available. Please allow people affected to go to their dealers to have the faulty airbags removed/disconnected until parts are available. We need to be able to use our vehicles fully.

Takata airbags received recall notice in March 2017. Have not been contacted for repair as of June 16, 2017.
Received initial recall notice (0717a) of the potentially fatal takata airbag in February 2017 and instructed not to let anyone ride in the passenger side of the car, and was told airbag replacement parts were not available. It is now September, 2017 - over 6 months later - the airbag replacement parts are still not available, we are still having to use a potentially deadly defective automobile but only part of the vehicle since we cannot use the front passenger side, and Mazda has not offered a replacement vehicle. We cannot even sell the car for fair value do to this potentially fatal and at this time, un-repairable, defect. The last recall notice (1317f) instructed us to notify the administrator of the NHTSA if Mazda did not repair the defect within a reasonable amount of time. Over 6 months is not a reasonable period of time.

Takata recall. I received Mazda's safety recall notice on 12/12/2016. In December 2016, I took the recall letter to my local Mazda dealer in bitburg, germany. As of August 31, 2017, Mazda europe is still not able to receive parts to repair the car. My local Mazda dealership told me to wait until I received another notice and then return with the car. I have not received a second notice as of August 31, 2017.
Takata recall -- I have checked to have the new air bag on my passenger side and was told that there is no replacement available. And they did not know when a replacement would be available. So I am driving a lethal weapon with no recourse. In the meantime, our government has required vw to buy back vehicles. Why is the government not making similar requirements on cars that are killing people???.
