Engine Shut Off Without Warning Problems of Mazda MAZDA3

The vehicle was inspected by an mechanic, but no failure was found. The contact was referred to compass motors (200 dolson Ave, middletown, NY 10940, (844) 258-3818), but they refused to assist. The contact stated that the service manager yelled at her while she was attempting to schedule a service appointment. The contact called the manufacturer who then contacted the dealer. The dealer claimed to have done nothing wrong and promised to have the owner of the dealer call her back. The contact had not received a call back and traded in the vehicle because she was too scared to drive the old vehicle. The failure mileage was 8,220.

I just got off work and got in my car to leave. I turned on the car and everything seemed normal. I pulled out of the parking lot and as soon as I pulled up to the light, which was 1block away, my car shut off. I was just at the red light waiting then my car turned off and would not turn back on. All the power in the car was there but my car would just not turn back on, my vehical was being operated in the automatic position. This was dangerous because it was a Friday afternoon during the 5 o'clock traffic and I had all these vehicals lined up behind me honking and I had to push my vehicals off to the side and call a tow truck. My vehical was luckily on the city street.

While driving my car to turn into the shopping center parking lot, the steering wheel locked up and was very stiff. At the same time the engine shut off and essentially causing my car to stop in the middle of the parking lot. All engine, power, and battery lights flashed on and off at the same time. I ended up putting the car in park turn off the car with my key and then restarting it again. After researching I saw there was a recall for my model and year, when I called the customer service department the rep not having any notice for a recall for my type of model and did not honor the recall that I had mentioned to him. I am now having to look outside of my means in order to pay for this issue.

While trying to accelerate form a stop my car stalled. The engine shut off but the radio and all indicator lights were on the dash. I had to put the car into park and turn the key to the off position and restart the engine. My car is an automatic transmission and has done this multiple times all at similar speeds. Going from a complete stop or from idling speed trying to accelerate.
