The contact owns a 2010 Mazda 3. The contact stated while traveling at approximate speeds of 65 mph, the right passenger tire blew out. The contact was able to install the spare tire and drove to a tire facility. The manufacturer of the tires advised the failure was caused by a defect and offered to take liability for 50 percent of the replacement tire.
