See attachment hello what do I need to do? I been trying to have this repaired ,for last 3 years their is no close Mazda dealer and this the only car I have to get to doctors . I got letter after letter and I called explained my situation and someone was going to call me back everytime with information for my Mazda 6 2007 to be towed to get repairs and a loaner car till return of my Mazda that is under a do not drive . No one ever calls me back. . Please I don't want metal schrapnal in my face ory passenger my husband is heart patient we need my car can't be without here in sallisaw ok. Now what do we do .

The passenger crash pad has deteriorated and become sticky and cracked. This may affect deployment of airbag and perhaps allow outside environmental elements to affect the airbag. The takata fiasco being an example of environmental factors affecting airbag safety.

My seat doesn’t detect if passanger is in seat so my air bag engine light goes on and off it was recalled and Mazda supposedly cleared the issue but seems like they didnt fix it the recall properly.

My passenger air bag doesn’t turn on when passenger is in vehicle, sensor for air bag turns on and off as if it can’t determine if a person is on the seat. My dashboard has the srs OCS light on. My vehicle has already been seen by Mazda to fix the recall but I am afraid to drive and suddenly air bags go off.

The airbag light is still flashing on the dashboard after the airbag recall on this vehicle was fixed. It may be related to a different recall, which is safety campaign #16v594000.

Vehicle jerks at low speed when accelerate and idle when accelerate, p0766 code shows, engine noise and gears jump, when reverse the vehicle jerks.

Hi, car was involved in a small fender bender. Airbags were not deployed. However, an error code 19 (b0001) came on the dash related to driver side sensor. If not fixed, airbags will not deploy in case of accident and that puts me and my family in danger. Dealer won't service the vehicle because it has more than 100,000 miles (122,000 miles to be exact on my car). Other mechanics won't touch the airbag system. What am I supposed to do as the car is not safe to be driven and dealer refusing to help.

The passenger dash board is melting. It covers the passengers air bag. I would like to know if a recall is still possible for my vehicle. I understand that there was a recall in 2015-2017, but unfortunately I did not received the notice since I was moving from illinois to kansas and later to texas and continued changing addresses during that time frame.

10/31/2023 my daughter was in a car accident driving this vehicle identified by the VIN above. The car was totaled. Airbags did not deploy.

The contact owns a 2009 Mazda Mazda6. The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 165,000.

My car had a air bag recal and a subframe and other misc recalls so I contacted the dealership near me which was in springfield mo and set a apt and had it replaced then got a call the next day saying they wuld meet me half way with a loaner car which was in mansfield mo for the subframe replacement and they have had it for over a month and they called and told me it was ready for pick up 6/21/21 and I drove up there wed to pick it up and it wuldnt start wuldnt do nothing dead battery. Dealership then hooked up a jump box the gauges started jumping all back and fourth like something was shorted or a short some were got it started and the min the jump box turned off the it killed all power the car shut completly off to nothing. So they gave me the loner vehical back and they drove me my car to west plains mo and they took the loner vehical and I got in my car and the air bag light is flashing very fast constly the steering is super tight and the brakes feel weird the passenger side is missing a piece in the dash only lights that was on my car when they picked it up was the tire sensor light and the check engine light got pics to prove and show everything. . I’m driving it back to dealership to see if they can fix or make it right and give me the loner vehical back till they get my car back to the condition it was in when they picked it up for a recall repair. .

I recently noticed out of no where the dashboard on my car cracked for no reason it is right by the front passenger airbag. It is also extremely sticky . I don't feel safe driving it in this condition.

I recently noticed that my dashboard has become cracked and very sticky . I do not know how this happened when I contacted Mazda to get it fixed I was told they can not replace that part . I don't know what to do I feel stuck I paid a lot of money for this car.

I bought a used car from a small dealership, they sold me the car without a dash harness, all the wiring that is supposed to be connected to the computer in my car is not there, so I can't do smog check. The mechanic could not check why the check engine light was on because the computer in my car was not communicating with the tool. Sold me the car with airbags not working. Lied about having it all checked out. And I still haven't received my title, registration, and plates to my car.

Had an head on car accident on the street my tire blow out and hit a light pole. The passenger air bag did not come out, also the driver airbag came out but it was deflated no air was in it or what ever makes an air bag blow up. In which cost me to hit my head on the steering wheel.

The dash material above the passenger airbag has been deteriorating and melting as if a chemical reaction has occurred. This winter the section in question has generated several cracks and fissures in the surface.

I started noticing cracks on the dashboard on the passenger side where the airbag deploys. My vehicle was stationary when I noticed ththe cracks the following morning. I am concerned that the airbag might accidentally go off with the slightest vibrations or closing of the vehicle doors.

There was a recall on the air bags of my car and I was not informed of the recall that was for April 2019. How can this be fixed?.

Passenger side dash started melting about a year ago and has gotten so bad the dash is almost liquid. Sunlight reflects off the shiny melted dash and blinds the driver. I was in an accident because I couldn't see due to light reflecting off melted dash. Dash is so sticky that you cannot touch or it will stick to hands/ clothing. I have ruined multiple items of clothing due to this mess.

Located in zone a - received multiple notices in mail since 2016. - Mazda website does not acknowledge a recall exists when trying to schedule an appointment - they acknowledge it when phoned in - recall always quoted to take a day, with no alternate transport available. Despite mailer saying free alternative transport available. I've tried multiple times. - I need a vehicle - always. Right now my choice is to continue driving my car (at risk of �serious injury or death�) or lose my livelihood.

Was in an accident which resulted in a lockup of vehicle and side collision with battery failure.

I hit a deer at 45 miles an hour then hit the hit totalling the car, the airbag did not come out, the seat belt did not lock causing me to be slammed into the steeling wheel, now I suffer great pain, can't move my neck, can't lay down bc of such bad headache I throw up, I sleep sitting up, something in the car like metal fragment hit me in the left eye, now I can barely see out of my left eye. And must continue medical treatment. And someone is going to pay for my medical treatment and pain and suffering, bc that seat belt not locking caused my injuries, my insurance company totalled my car out bc of the severe damage to it.

The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact sustained cuts, burns and bruises on the left arm. The contact drove himself to an urgent care medical facility. The vehicle was not towed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 133,000. Fe.

Manufacturers recall number 1317f. Nhtsa recall 18v-018 and manufacturers recall number 70131. Nhtsa recall 13v42500. First one is air bag on passenger side and the other is Mazda 6 door latch mounting screws.

On 01/18/2019 I took vehicle I purchased, to mock Ford in grant's pass oregon for takara airbag recall. This is when I became aware of safety issue that vehicles aur bags had been cut out and removed. The service guy at mock Ford explainedand gave estimate which was greater than what cars value was. The seller of car aaron ronson never disclosed any issues. Only that he bought from a friend that buys and fixes cars. His friend worked at a wrecking yard. My safety concern as well as insurance coverage is have been b. Ceffected. My complaint is no found records of vehicleaccident. And no branding of title it is clear. No evidence of airbad deployment. I have been refused copies if previous owner to investigated knowledge prior to my purcgase.

My dashboard (crash pad) on my passenger side over my airbag is melting and cracking causing me to be concerned about safety in the event of an accident. Mazda claims that recall ended in March of 2019 but I was never notified by Mazda of this recall therefore I feel it should be extended for my safety. The crash pad becomes sticky, melts and cracks the dashboard. My vehicle is still in operation and therefore my saftey is still important.

Headlight on both sides go out often. After having this issue far too many times, I looked online hoping to find a solution and discovered multiple Mazda owners are having same problem. Its a malfunction in the Mazda that needs to be fixed by Mazda. This is extremely dangerous at night to have happening way to often. As for the air bag- ive had my Mazda to a Mazda dealership for the recalls and the air bag was kne of them. Since then, twice now, the 'airbag/front seat belt pretensioner system malfunction' light is flashing while driving. I looked it up, and by the sounds of it, my airbag is malfunctioning?! another dangerous situation on the Mazda 6.
