Takata recall. For the past year the airbag light has been coming on. It seems to occur at warmer temperatures and goes away and colder temperatures. The code that comes back is b2234 and this is associated with the driver's airbag. I believe this has occurred because of the replacement of the driver's side airbag replacement that was done on my vehicle due to the takata recall.

I took my car to ferman Mazda of brandon 9809 adamo drive, tampa (813) 623-6600 to get the recall done. They had my car for two and half months. Said they did recall on airbag. Now my airbag light came on and doesn't shut off. I was told that they replaced the parts that they recalled but now I checked online it says it wasn' and airbag light turned on. Now I know that they didn't do what I was told was done.
"takata recall" I just finally had my passenger side airbag repaired, after nearly a year of effort and two separate recalls. I was working with dgdg auto group, who own both capitol Mazda and steven's creek Mazda in san jose, CA. I have been trying to get this resolved since I received the first recall in 2016. I have been told that parts were not in stock, that I had to wait for the indicator light to change from flashing to solid or vice versa. Even the experience the last two days has be substandard, but I won't list the reasons for that. I just wanted to record my extreme frustration getting this glaring safety issue resolved. I love my Mazda, by dgdg are terrible.

I am having various issues with my Mazda 6. First, I have had the car 4 years and have replaced the headlights 4 times. I was told by the dealer it was normal. My major issue is the air bag light. Had a problem back in July with the light flashing. Dealer determined it was the pad sensor and I had it replaced. Now the air bag light is flashing again and dealer now thinks it is the srs control module. The pad sensor was $200. 00 and this sensor is over $500. 00. I am not sure why air bag components would need to be replaced after 4 years. They are not a wear item. The car has never been in an accident.
I currently own a 2007 Mazda6 and have an airbag indicator light on all the time. Yesterday I received a letter from Mazda informing me of an airbag recall. The date on the letter is listed as February 2015. I tried their website and can't get an e-mail to anyone. They don't list a phone number to call. They do however give your e-mail address. So this leaves me out in the cold with only one way to seek help and it is from your dept. The letter indicates that in certain situations the airbag could deploy. In the letter it states to wait for the second letter because parts aren't available. This makes my safety at risk and seems as though Mazda isn't really concerned. Can you help me get in touch with someone who can look at my car and fix this problem. It is my only vehicle. I'm now afraid to drive this car but have no choice but to take that risk.

Weve had this car in three time's they have changed air bag control module. Found resistance at connector high 25. 4 ohms cleaned and reset. And the third time witch was same day after they return car a few miles down the road air bag light was back on. They failed to right it up they took it back into garage and sent us home in a loaner car. As of 7/14/14 the air bag system turn it self off again. I do not know if I am in a accident if the air bag system will deploy or not. The cars computer keeps turning the air bag system off. This system has shut the air bags off when starting the car and now the third time while on the highway at 55 mph.

The airbag indicator (malfunction) light turns on and off intermittently for over a year. My car is out of warranty so the dealer will not service it without an expensive fee. I fear for my families safety because if the airbag is not operating properly it will be a life threatening injury to my family. I am under the impression that certain parts on vehicles should be serviced for a longer period of time, seat belts and airbags!. Please investigate the matter and issue a recall.
Passenger air bag light consistently on. Had it reset twice still comes back on after 2 years.

4/23/12 - took car to dealership for airbag light that would continuously flash on dashboard whenever car was on. Their findings: "pulled code b1127 - cleaned & tightened terminals in connector under seat to correct resistance. Test drove ok. Connector 0810-15. " cost me $92. 00 to repair. 3/12/14, (94,425 miles) took car back to dealership after experiencing same problem with flashing airbag light for several months prior. Their description of service: "technician performed diagnostics using Mazda scan tool. Found code b1127 - passenger side airbag module high resistance. Checked for TSB s, found TSB 08-001/09 - coating on airbag terminals allowing oxidation-- replace module. Installed gs3l-57-ka0b: module (r) a/b side, replaced module per tsbp 08-001/09. Cleared code from pcm. " this time it cost me $453. 87!!!! I can't believe there hasn't been a recall on this yet!!! also in Jan. 2015, (92,000 miles) I walked out to my car one day, during the winter, to find my passenger side dashboard with a huge crack in it! it is also very sticky feeling. I haven't even looked into how much it's going to cost to repair this. After doing some more research I found out that allot of people are having problems with their dashboard and I think Mazda needs to get involved and fix this.
