Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2012 Mercedes Benz C300

Tl the contact owns a 2012 mercedes-benz C300. The contact was recently notified by mercedes of an unknown recall regarding the passenger side air bag. The contact called mercedes-benz of wappingers falls (134 old post rd, wappingers falls, NY 12590, (845) 298-0600) and was informed that they were still waiting on a remedy for the air bag. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000.

Cannot get local dealer to replace defective passenger side airbag. Keep getting a run around on part availability .

Vehicle recalled for takata passenger-side airbags in January 2017. Received a notice from mb in March 2017. As of 12/4/17 still no replacement parts available. What is taking so long? are they awaiting for more injuries and law suits?.
