The turn signal light malfunction , when I turn the signal light to rt. The dashboard signal light going lt. , and when turn to the lt. The dashboard signal going rt. This happen accidentally , not all the time . But when it happened it was very risky. At the same time a dashboard massage appear and reading (( blind spot warning disabled)) first time happened to me; I pulled over , turned the engine off , turned it on again , problem resolved. First thing I did I made I search online , I found that many people are mentioning this problem . And some made a diagnosis of steering control unit malfunction . One person called the dealer , test the vehicle , and made a recall . He gave gave a phone number to call 18003676372. My son called that number and asked for this particular recall , and mb of USA denied any recall for this problem.

Dealership stated on 6/4/24 extensive rust and perforations on rear vehicle sub frame that can cause risk to driver of accident or injury. Mbusa is offering to replace sub frame part # 212 350 38 05. However dealership advised mbusa is not offering to replace corroded brake lines or brake fluid exchange, and would need to come out of pocket. Mbusa failed to notify me of safety defect. Vehicle was purchased from mb of arlington, va in 4/2019 however dealership sold vehicle that is dangerous to drive. The vehicle also has additional safety defects such as a passenger tail light that does not work, and a license plate light not functioning. Dealership wants an additional $1500 to replace these (2) lights. Vehicle has low mileage at 60,000 and was purchased with 35,000 under mb cpo program. I am very disappointed in Mercedes Benz and have never had so many quality and safety issues with any of my prior e-classes before. I contacted mbusa and opened up a executive care escalations case [xxx}. There was no warning lights of the impending safety feature. The level of rust on the sub frame is horrifying, and this vehicle should never have been sold to me under mb cpo. In addition, the vehicle engine is leaking oil in multiple places and could catch fire in any moment. I have never seen so many issues on a vehicle with low mileage, especially with a mercedes. Vehicle headlight burned out while driving at night time reduced visibility. Upon inspection found the headlight wires insulation located behind the passenger's light bulb connector melted/burnt causing short circuit. Temporary fixing it with an electrical tape.

The contact owns a 2010 mercedes-benz E350. The contact stated that the engine was misfiring and shifted limp mode. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 22v168000 (exterior lighting, electrical stability control, engine, and engine cooling) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 127,000.

Fuel gauge showed 3/4 tank, car stopped , mechanic told us the car was out of gas. I spend 600. 00 at the shop to find out this. They first wanted to replace tank, fuel pump and senders. Gas gauge is not working proper, any advise?.

I was parking in la fitness gym. In la habra on 3/11/14 at 1 p. M, a clear day, in a space in the middle parking space. I was 90% parked in the parking space & had my foot on the brakes while finishing my parking. All of sudden the engine roared & car speed up & hit the SUV parked in front of me. The SUV moved 3-5 feet & touched the car parked next to it on its driver side. This has happened 2nd time. In Sep. 2013 this car accelerated by itself while I was parking behind a car by a residential area by a street curb. Please refer to my odi # 10547151 for my previous reporting. The dealer has not been acknowledging any of my emails in this regard. My car's damaged is being repaired by house of imports in buena park, a mercedes dealer. My E350 is 6 years old and has 77000 miles. The electrical wiring for the signal lights has disintegrated exposing bare wires and causing wires to short-circuit creating an extremely hazardous situation that prevents the vehicle from functioning correctly. This is creating a serious safety hazard with possible fire in engine area. This problem is a manufacturing defect. Mercedes benz tells me that because my car is out of warranty I have to pay for the repair which is about $1000. 00 dollars. The wire insulation should last a very long time if car is properly designed and this wiring problem should be corrected by the manufacture with no cost to the car owners. Due to the seriousness of this problem I recommend the national highway traffic safety administration to order Mercedes Benz to investigate this problem and issue a safety recall. The main wiring harness for the engine, lighting, fuel injection and rest of critical functions of the vehicle has disintegrated due to a manufacturing defect. The manufacturer has used an inferior and unsuitable insulation for the wires, which, is brittle, cracking and falling off exposing bare wires, creating an extremely hazardous situation. The wire insulation deterioration is causing the wires to short and prevents the vehicle from functioning correctly. This is creating a serious safety hazard. (possible, fire in engine, etc). Due to the seriousness, I recommend the national highway traffic safety administration order the manufacture to properly investigate and issue a safety recall. The manufacturer is aware of this widespread defect but refuses to order a recall. I purchased this vehicle new and operated it under normal conditions. The vehicle has been regularly serviced and maintained by Mercedes Benz authorized dealers since it was new. The vehicle has been well kept and maintained.
