Started my car up and it said power steering failed. . I cut the car off and waited then it went off. . . As I was headed to work the airbag light came on for the passenger side. . I pulled into the store turned the car off a while and started it back up the light went off before leaving work the power steering message popped back up I once again turned off the car for a while. . . I manage to make it home but a mile from my house the airbag light once again came on. . Please check into this. . I love my life and the life of my loved ones driving like this is very dangerous and this is my only means of transportation.

They said that happens because of the heat and that unless the air bag light goes on the air bag itself is ok. They would have to replace the entire dashboard at a cost of over $2000. 00. No one will touch it because it's by the air bag. We live in northeast ohio - not a warm state like florida. This shouldn't be happening and if it is just the cover then why won't the dealership fix it with whatever glue was used when they manufactured the car? I don't want to risk the airbag deploying. I googled this problem and there are other people out there with the same issue in the 2007 and the 2008 Milan but no one has responded to their questions of how to repair it.

My car was sitting for a month in my driveway. I just got back from vacation. Next day I was going to work, my air bag light came on. I was not sure if it was safe for me to drive to work. The problem is that I'm the only one that drives that car and rarely does somebody sit in the passenger seat. Something needs to be done with this problem. The 2nd problem is of my transmission, while in traffic, alot of stopping and starting, I noticed my transmission seems to slip out as if I'm in neutral, I've seen there was a recall or talk of it for this problem of some of the newer models, but the year for 2007, there is nothing for it, so this problem started well before the years that were listed, this concerns me as if I needed to move out of the way for some odd reason, specially while having family in the car, there'd be now way of doing so quickly if desired, and would absorb an impact of any . So the 2 items listed concerns me as a consumer for "safety reason" specially when driving my children or grandchildren with me.
