Failure Date: 06/30/2016

Takata recall--my car has been in the florida sun since it was purchased by my late husband (valentine's gift for 2/14/2011). It has been under recall since June 2016! it is unsafe to drive. I have been given a loaner not close to the Milan. I only have 25,800+ miles on it! I am in the process of moving close to family--since I am alone and a senior citizen. What am I to do? I'm not supposed to drive it, can't sell it -- since I can't let anyone test drive it--it is in the middle of my driveway--this is a ridiculous situation, plus not I see there are warning lights on the dash (if I were to try and start it and the smell of gasoline. I need assistance--thank you for your attention, (xxxxxx) parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. 5 Warning Light On problem of the 2007 Mercury Milan

Failure Date: 06/18/2016

Passenger airbag warning light illuminated. Took car to Ford dealership who diagnosed it as a sensor problem, and if not repaired could prevent the airbag from deploying. I have owned many cars and this is the first time, I've ever had a problem like this. After researching online, I saw there were numerous complaints for the same problem. Is the NHTSA aware of these safety hazards and should a recall be implemented?.
