Warning Light On Problems of Mercury Milan

Takata recall--my car has been in the florida sun since it was purchased by my late husband (valentine's gift for 2/14/2011). It has been under recall since June 2016! it is unsafe to drive. I have been given a loaner not close to the Milan. I only have 25,800+ miles on it! I am in the process of moving close to family--since I am alone and a senior citizen. What am I to do? Passenger airbag warning light illuminated. Took car to Ford dealership who diagnosed it as a sensor problem, and if not repaired could prevent the airbag from deploying.
