One problem related to vehicle speed control has been reported for the 1996 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When driving at highway speed and upon depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle coutinues to move forward, resulting in extended stopping distance and brake fading away. Also rpms continued to go up and vehicle did not stop.
