Brake Abs Warning Light Problems of Mini Cooper

Abs dash light and break light suddenly came on. In addition to the air bag light that suddenly came on, the dealer said the computer module for the abs will cost $1,000 (in addition to the airbag module of $1. 000). I see on internet blogs and NHTSA that this is a common incident total air bag and abs cost will be $2,000.

The contact owns a 2003 Mini Cooper. In April of 2007, the abs light illuminated twice and has remained lit ever since. The vehicle was still under warranty when the light first illuminated. Currently, the vehicle is no longer under warranty and the abs has failed again. The current mileage was 76,200 and failure mileage was 72,500. Updated 09/10/07.
