1 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 10/06/2022

Brakes consistently fail to hold pressure and are letting go. I purchased this car back in April and the previous owner had no idea of the recall. Did a bit of research and found it's a defect in the system. Once the car fails to hold pressure I have to very rapidly spam the break pedal to get a sliver of pressure so my car can come to a stop. Breaking with little pressure grinds the brakes and doesn't stop the car.

10 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 12/10/2015

My car was recalled for the anit-lock braking system and the recall notice stated that the repair would take approx 2. 0 hrs to evaluate and 4. 0 to repair. The dealer had my car for 7 days and would not give me a loaner car. The reason they had it so long was because Mitsubishi did not let the dealers have the replacement part. They had to fax the info to Mitsubishi for approval then wait for the part to be shipped. They would not give me my car back when I told them I had to get to work they told me there was nothing they could do. I don't understand why if it's a known recall Mitsubishi doesn't at least let the dealer have 1 or 2 parts on hand and then replace them as used. It's totally unacceptable for Mitsubishi to expect to have someone's car for a week. They stated it wasn't their problem that I would have to rent a car in order to get to work. I had to pay over $200 for a "free recall". Shame on you Mitsubishi.
