While waiting and vehicle was idling, another vehicle rearended the Galant, causing it to rearend another vehicle. Upon impact with the other vehicle, the front air bags failed to deploy. Three (3) passengers were injured. *jbconsumer suffered neck, back and soft tissue pelvic injuries.

Consumer was involved in an accident. Consumers head went into the windshield and cracked the glass. This happened because the belt restraint did not sufficiently hold consumer and the air bags did not deploy. Consumer suffered a concussion as a result of the accident. After contacting Mitsubishi's claims service, they found nothing wrong with the seat belts or the air bags.

Vehicle was hit head on. Upon impact, frontal air bags did not deploy, causing injury to driver.

Consumer was involved in a 30 mph front end collision in which front driver's and passenger's airbags failed to deploy. Consumer sustained injuries because of airbag failure. Dealer has yet to be contacted. Please provide further details.

While traveling at about 65 mph consumer's vehicle hit another vehicle head-on on drivers side. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Consumer and passenger were injured. Consumer felt if airbags had deployed some of the injuries would not have been so bad.

While driving at 65 mph consumer suddenly lost control of vehicle, causing it to hit a telephone pole head-on. Upon impact, driver's side and passenger's side air bags failed to deploy. Two people were injured in accident.

Consumer was driving at approximately 30 mph and rearended another vehicle after sliding due to dirt on road . Dual airbags did not deploy. Front passenger sustained minor injuries. Consumer contacted manufacturer, but was not given explanation.

Consumer has experienced problems with driver's and passenger's side airbags. During a head-on collision in which the consumer was driving 20 mph, and other vehicle was going 60 mph, airbags failed to deploy. The manufacturer has been contacted.

Both airbags failed to deploy, extensive front end damage on 07/06/00. Problem # 2 front disc brakes have always made a grinding noise and front end has a vibration. Car was taken back to dealer a couple of months after purchase, front brake shoes were replaced and rotors turned(not covered by warranty). This failed to fix problem, I have since learned to live with it(can't afford to have it fixed). Note: I believe you may have a recall on my third problem with this vehicle, although I have not received a recall notice from the manufacturer, my car loses power to my accessories(radio, air conditioning,etc. ).

Driving in raining conditions at approx 30-40 mph rearended vehicle in front, air bags on both sides did not deploy. Dealer claims with that impact air bags should have. Did about $5,700 worth of damage to front end alone.

This vehicle was involved in a front end collision causing $6500 in damages. Both air bags failed to deploy. I was told by the dealership manager that nothing could be done about the problem. I refused to make further payment on the vehicle, and voluntarily surrendered same to Mitsubishi motors credit of America, po box 6044, cypress, CA 90630-6044. All parties were notified of the dangerous condition of the vehicle, yet on June 12, 2001, the vehicle was irresponsibly sold by mitsubushi credit for $9,100. Whoever now owns the vehicle is in grave danger to the driver and passenger should a collision occur.
