2002 Mitsubishi Montero developed noise under the left side dash. *
the vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was discovered that the brake accumulator had failed. After some research the consumer found that a recall had been issued on the 2001-2002 Montero for this problem. According to the manufacturer the consumer's vehicle did not fall in the recall range. The consumer believes the vehicle should be covered under the recall since it exhibits the same failure.
