1 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2003 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 12/01/2005

I own a 350z bought brand new in 2003. I was one of the 1st in baltimore for I did not see another z for six months. I have had a new transmission put in at 36k due to a failing 3rd gear synco and now at 80k the 5th. I am about to put in my 5th window motor in. Nissan does not care about us so don't even waste your time with 1800nissan1. They should feel privileged that we allow japanese to sell cars here in the us and should be penalized when they fail. I will never ever buy a Nissan again and I go as far as getting my Nissan's oil changed at Toyota so I do not promote Nissan any further. Quite a lemon. Tacoma has 90k and only oil changes.

2 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2003 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 07/19/2005

Consumer owned a Nissan 350z track version 2003. He took vehicle to dealer for recall repair about a year ago. Consumer stated it was a recall, however, could not find recall on NHTSA web site. Ntb03-046 was the number identifying the recall that consumer had. Repair work was done on 6-11-04. Then, on July 19, 2005 consumer took vehicle to gardena Nissan in California, and they told him that the problem involved front tires wearing out on the inside during repair work they replaced the right front compression rod. Consumer contacted Nissan, and they told him that after recall and warranty repair work was only good for 10,000 miles. Consumer believed that recall repairs did not fix problem, per gardena Nissan. Six months after consumer bought vehicle when shifting up or down at any speed periodically it will not go into gear. Nissan was aware of the situation, and they did not want to do anything about it.
