Transmission Shudder Problems of Nissan 350Z

Transmission grind going in and out of 3rd gear. Read all the reviews too late or never would have bought it. Car is dangerous this way and with the hundreds of complaints Nissan should be recalling and replacing the transmission.

The contact owns a 2008 Nissan 350z. The contact stated that the transmission grinds into second gear when the clutch is fully disengaged. In addition, the transmission stalls and is less likely to grind in second gear in warm weather conditions; however, the failure still persists. When shifting from 3,500 rpms to 4,500 rpms from first to second gear, the transmission would grind more. The dealer advised him to bring in the vehicle for inspection. The contact will take the vehicle to them within the next 24 hours. The failure mileage was 4,500 updated 02/24/09. Clutch on 07 6mt vq35hr 350z constantly is vibrating and transmission is clicking like so many other Nissan 350z owners. Car was bought brand new has been doing it since the purchase. Have already been to the dealership a few times with no explanation. No repairs made by dealership. Nissan consumer affairs are not responding to repeated attempts at communication ( email and phone. ).

Manual transmission makes loud grinding noise when shifting between 2nd gear and 3rd gear.

Transmission makes loud noise shifting into second. Transmission also grinds gears when down shifting from sixth to fifth gear.

When up shifting to 5th gear the transmission will grind at higher rpm's. Also have some issues with the transmission "catching" as shifting in other gears, have to press hard to get it into gear at times.
