The crankshaft or camshaft sensor has went out which causes it to stall or immediately die, which is a safety hazard yes the check engine light was on.
Vehicle is experiencing excessive oil consumption. I had to replace rack and pinion steering and vehicle is using excessive amounts of power steering fluid. I purchased both headlight assemblies due to not being able to align properly.
Last year I had the same issues with my 2003 Nissan sentra gxe that I am now facing with my 2006 Nissan Altima. The serpentine belt comes off because of the harmonic balance and this ones ac clutch locked up and is wobbling plus my transmission acts irratic snd the starter csused the cwr to stall and catch fire! th3 stress and agony of dpending all my savings fixing the car to end up stuck anyways and this is ongoing problems that keep reoccuring in all piece of * Nissans and they want more money id like to file a lawsuit ! #boycott Nissan.
The car won't start.
Fuel pump has been replaced 3 times and fuel filter keeps clogging and fuel sending unit wont work .
I have had to replace my engine twice, my emergency breaks stopped working and the I think it's called the transmission but anyways my car tends to jerk and hesitates to crank sometimes. I have had my starter looked at and replaced and also battery but it still happens. I have had three different mechanics look into it and the couldn't figure it out.
When I drive the vehicle, the engine light constantly pops on and off the car consumes a large amount of oil each week, I have to check the oil and keep a case of oil with the filter in my truck to constantly fill it up. The car drains gas like crazy, and it's slow and driving and sluggish. The car has cut off on me in the middle of driving where I had to spend over $500 to get it repaired.
I have replaced my crankshaft and camshaft positioning sensor and when I get my codes read it keeps coming back on and my car dies at random times.
I brought my Altima 6 months again, my car idles very high when in park, while driving it gets surge of power, so now while driving it feels like it is going to cut off. Than 3 weeks ago my car cut off and wouldnt turn back on so the starter was replaced now this morning it's the same issue.

My dte said 180 miles, with almost a half tank of gas, car stopped on me on freeway, no warning light of low fuel. Car stopped and an accident occurred because of this problem. The dte or gas gauge does not read accurately. Please I need help.
After the engine has started it may shut down randomly while driving. If the car is shut down for any reason it will not start back up for several hours. This is exactly the same as a previous recall on the car from NHTSA campaign number: 07v527000. It has shut down twice now while driving at less then 40 miles an hour.
Damaga motor mounts it keep geting damage.
A local auto shop has replaced the crank position sensor twice but the same obdii code appeared again. The car will crank but not start for several minutes. This problem (which is associated with a recall but not for our VIN) is also associated with the engine shutting down during vehicle operation, possibly causing crashes. The Nissan dealer has claimed that there is no repair nor recall they can do. I suspect that Nissan is failing to report the extent of the problem which has been widely reported in owner interest groups on the internet.

This vehicle has given me a lot of problems from steering to brakes took the boots transmission. It was hard shifting going through an intersection all the sudden it popped and the transmission gave out.
Front driver side floor rusted through, making a big hole approximately 9in wide by 22in long. Also engine shakes while starting vehicle and sitting in idle in both gear and neutral.
The engine goes off suddenly in the mid of the traffic at intersection, during taking curves. The car goes out of power, brakes and steering lose complete power. It is very dangerous situation as any one can back end, hit the car, or car can go back on ramp or can fall off the road. It can happen any time, no engine warning no diagnostic.
Codes p0335 and p0725.
Car cuts off at low speed. Problem is included under NHTSA campaign number: 07v527000 for year make and model. Dealers tell me that myvin # is not included. If the year make and model are included why not my car? /this is dangerous.

While driving ~25 mph I was slowing down to a red traffic light and my car spontaneously shut off in traffic! I was able to put my car in park and restart the car. A few days later, it took 3 attempts before my engine started. After a diagnostic, the car displayed codes p0335 (crankshaft position sensor) and p0725 (engine speed circuit signal sensor). After doing much research I found hundreds of complaints online with similar issues! I input my VIN# to see if my vehicle was under recall and it wasn't. After seeing hundreds of the same complaints, why hasn't their been a recall? if there was, how is it possible that my car wasn't recalled?.

I can drive around town or where ever. I can stop at a place, shut the car down, and get back in it and it acts like it does not want to crank. I have to keep trying over and over again to get my car to start. I took it to the local auto zone had a diagnostic test ran on it and it came back with the crank sensor that needed to be replaced. I had the crank sensor replaced and the computer reset but I keep having the same problems. I drive around and the same thing happens. After the car gets hot the car does not want to crank. Now since then my car has put another error on my car for p7020 with is the speed sensor. I have contact Nissan about this because I seen the same recall on the same car but they state that my car isnt covered under the recall because my car was not part of the recall. My thing is how is it not when its same exact thing going wrong with it.
Transmission jerks.

My daughter was driving home from college on PA turnpike all of a sudden the car began shaking and smoke started to come from hood of car, she heard a loud pop and heavy black smoke pored into car. She proceeded to move over to shoulder when she tried to brake there was no brakes. Speed bumps in shoulder stopped the vehicle and flames started to shoot out of hood. She immediately left vehicle and within seconds of leaving the whole drivers and passenger sides were engulfed in flames. Car was totaled . I contacted Nissan 12/01/2014 by email and telephone in reference to this incidence.
