Noises During Shifting problems of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle would decelerated from 15 to 20 mph, then stalled without warning. The contact stated that he shifted to natural and restart the vehicle and was able to drive normal to his residence. The contact stated that when the shifter in drive, the vehicle would stalled, the transmission would make a noise and when the vehicle warm up it would stalled. The vehicle was taken back to fenton Nissan west where it was diagnosed that the transmission failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not under a recall and there was nothing done to extend the warranty. The manufacturer also stated that there was a lawsuit that was still in litigation and they would call the contact when it settled. The failure mileage was 69,500.
