Small hair leak from side wall of back passenger tire.
I purchased milestar tires model ms932 sport in 2021 size 235/45/18. In Jan. 2024 my tire pressure indicator light came on and I pulled over and changed the tire to my spare and took the tire to my tire dealer and it had to be replaced with another tire due to the sidewall separating on the inside of the tire. The tire was on the front of the passenger side of the car. There was still plenty of tread wear on the tire. About a month later the same thing happened to another of the milestar tires. This time it was on the front driver's side. When this happened to the second tire, I took the car into the tire dealer and upon inspection it appears to be that the tires are going to do the same thing on the other two.

Continental pro contact tire: non-road hazard tire sidewall failure on barely worn tire, potentially leading to loss of vehicle control and/or vehicle rollover. Tire concern was initially indicated with a mild (~26 psi) low tire pressure warning. After stopping to inspect, no debris or other indication of puncture was noted, so pressure was added to return to factory settings. However, hours later and at highway speed, low tire pressure indication returned (to a similar low value in the mid-20's, followed within minutes by sudden pressure drop and tire disintegration. Vehicle control was compromised due to sudden tire failure. Upon tire removal at side of freeway, I noted that the interior tire sidewall was missing substantial chunks of rubber, a classic "blow out. " the next day a very careful inspection by local discount tire store revealed absolutely zero indication of pre-failure pressure loss: no nail or other debris punctures in any part of the remaining tire, and zero/no indication of prior low-pressure operation (which could lead to tire overheating and subsequent failure). Strongly suspect either a major construction or material defect was likely cause of this hazardous and nearly spontaneous tire failure, on a tire mounted on a new car under a year old, and with minimal tire wear. Upon submission of this complaint I will contact discount tire and request tire be retained for submission/inspection, if desired; please advise promptly if you'd like to inspect the tire.

After noticing "dimples" on the sidewalls of our continental conti pro tires, on a new 2011 Altima, we checked online and found dozens of problems with tread separation and sidewall failures that led to blowouts. We are getting rid of the continentals with just 2,000 miles on them. It's worth $600 for new michelins to know our 2,000-mile drive tomorrow will be on safe tires. It's just unconscionable that these tires come on Nissans, fords and mercedes, and that consumers aren't at least given a choice to opt out. I can't take a family trip on these tires.

While driving in the interstate my rear driver's tire went flat. I bought my Nissan Altima brand new approximately 3 months ago and there are only approximately 2400 miles on the tires. Upon inspection, it was found that the cause of the flat was splitting sidewalls. Additionally, the front passenger's tire is also starting to show signs of splitting sidewalls.

Dt the rear driver's side tire separated from inside top on October 1, 2005. Had not contacted the dealer at this point. The rear end had been making a roaring sound at 65 mph, slowed down to 50 mph, and then a few seconds later could hear the plopping sound. These were bridgestone/firestone tires, turanza el 42, p215/55r17. The tires were serviced regularly. There was no vibration, and there was no abnormal bulging in the tires.
At 100 miles a brand new Nissan Altima with continental touring m&s, contact as tires. P215/60r16 the sidewall blew out at 10 miles mph. I am dealing with Nissan to get them to replace all of the tires on the car. I do not feel safe with these tires.

Tire blister issue(turanza el 42 p215/55r17 93h m+s)--- I noticed a tire blister on my front passenger tire. I visited my dealer for assistance but was only redirected to bridgestone/firestone. However, bridgestone/firestone did not address the matter and simply ignored the failure of the tire integrity. I am worried as bridgestone/firestone has a histoy of ignoring problems with its products and has sacrificed the safety of the consumer in order to gain a profit. No one answered the phone when I contacted the bridgestone/firestone warranty number (800-847-3272). I eventually located another number via directory assistance (800-582-0962). However the sole tech support representative simply dismissed the matter. The representative did not complete a claim form or provide a claim number. He directed me to seek the advice of a bridgestone/firestone retailer. However, the retailer could not provide assistance without a claim number, which the manufacturer tech representative should have provided to me. I am very concerned with the way bridgestone/firestone handled this matter given its previous history. I wished that Nissan never placed this brand of tires on its new vehicles, especially if Nissan does not plan to protect its consumers from bad manufacturers. ***please note that your system will not allow me to insert the correct tire size. My tire size is p215/55r17 93h m.
I purchases a 2005 Nissan Altima on Nov. 2, 2004. On Nov. 23, 2004, my back driver's side tire, now having 1400 miles on it blew out. There were no punctures in the tire, the sidewall just blew out while driving down the interstate. The tires were continentals. Neither superior Nissan, Nissan USA, nor continental would replace my tire.
Developed bubble in sidewall. (tiresize: 205/60r15)( dot number: tire size: 205/60r15 ).

Upon routine inspection of the tires, it was noted that there is a crack running around the circumfrance of all four tires where the tread meets the sidewall. This is on all four tires. Our dealer has recommended that we replace the tires before warm weather starts. We decided to investigate online to see if there was a recall on these tires. There is no recall, but there are numerous complaints listed for these firestone affinity tires for tread separation. I feel there must be a manufacturing problem with these tires. Thank you for your help.
