1 Turn Signal problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 08/04/2020

When turn signal is automatically cancelled as the steering wheel is straightened, sometimes (not always) it actuates the 'lane change' three-flash signal in the opposite direction. For example, after making a left turn, the signal cancels and signals three flashes in the right direction. This happens when turning in either direction. It has happened multiple times but does not happen at every turn. I feel it may be a malfunction of the turn signal arm.

2 Turn Signal problem of the 2014 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 07/01/2019

Low beam headlights have deteriorated to the point the car cannot e driven at night. The bulbs were replaced twice with no improvement. Adjusting the bulbs also did not improve the illumination. The car is unsafe to drive at night and the car has been parked for the last four weeks. It's obviously an engineering flaw the consumer should not pay for. You can't value engineer safety. I contacted Nissan to see if they will do the right thing and replace the headlight assemblies. In closing the turn signal bulbs produce more light than the low beam headlights.

3 Turn Signal problem of the 2014 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 04/01/2019

Starting in April 2019 on my 2014 Nissan Altima sv. The low beam headlights are extremely dim. They are easily overpowered by the turn signal, and headlights from other vehicles cast a "shadow" when driving behind this vehicle. This presents a serious safety hazard especial in any wet weather event it is almost like having no lights on at all. If there is a minimum lumens that need to be projected to the road this design is not doing it. The bulbs were replaced with appropriate units, no change in the effectiveness of the lights. When I contacted Nissan about this safety defect they provided no solution. And took zero responsibility for the companies design flaw.

4 Turn Signal problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 01/01/2019

The headlights are beyond dim, I am only able to see a short distance in front of the vehicle - unless the high beams are turned on. It is worse with night driving in rain and snow because I am not able to see beyond my front bumper. It makes me very uncomfortable to drive because I fear that I will not be able to see pedestrians and potentially hurt or worse kill someone because I was unable to see while using my headlights. This is an issue all the time, whether moving or sitting still, and it is very sad when your turn signals are brighter and shine on street signs but your headlights do not. We have replaced the bulbs but this has not corrected the issue and I am not sure what else could be causing this to have happened within the short amount of time we have owned the vehicle. At this point I have not experienced an accident or anything, but feel it is only a matter of time before there will be no light and I will no longer be able to drive the vehicle.

5 Turn Signal problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 11/15/2017

Turn signal. When turn signal is automatically cancelled as the steering wheel is straightened, sometimes it actuates the 'lane change' three-flash signal in the opposite direction - presumably because the signal over-travels and momentarily travels in the opposite direction. For example, after making a right turn, the signal cancels and signals three flashes in the left direction. This has resulted in a person pulling out in front of me because they apparently thought I was going to change lanes to the left immediately after my right turn. This only happens intermittently, but I first noticed it shortly after I purchased the vehicle.

6 Turn Signal problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 08/01/2016

Low beam lights get extremely dim, my turn signal lights are brighter than the headlights!!!!!!!!! this creates a safety issue driving at night. As an uber driver, I can spot my generation Altima from far away just cause it always has the dimmest lights unless the Altima has hid.

7 Turn Signal problem of the 2009 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 06/11/2009

Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Nissan Altima 7,000 miles. The contact stated that due to the design of the headlight assembly which includes the turn signal and side marker light it is difficult to see the turn signal when activated. The contact has not contacted the manufacture about this problem. Bl.
