The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while traveling at approximately 30 mph and attempting to stop, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard when depressed and there was an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle as it shook. The contact stated that the abs warning light illuminated and excessive force on the brake pedal was required in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70.
I was driving at about 40mph I was coming to a red light and proceeded to apply my brakes when the braje pedal vibrated and shook my abs and 2 other light illuminated on my dash car took several times of applying tge brake to slow down. It fekt like I had no control of braking. The brakes made a grinding noise abd brakes went to less then 50% of original braking power. I turned my car off and on again and lights went off and braking was normal again. This has happened pretty much on a weekly occurrence since then. I've called the dealer and asked if they had any recalls they said no.
I was driving then when I went to apply the brakes their was this grinding spring like noise and the abs light was on. This is an ongoing recurrence. I will simply pull over or put the vehicle in neutral and turn the vehicle off and back on thus the problem goes away. I haven't had the vehicle a week by the time this happen.
On a regular normal perfect to drive day, brake becomes spongy and making a compressed-spring like noise. Will not stop car right away. Had to turn engine and restart to get rid of problem. On occasion, abs light come on.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving 25 mph the abs light illuminated and disable the brakes malfunctioned. Whenever the brakes were being depressed there was a loud grinding nose and the contact had to apply extreme pressure to the brakes in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealers several times for diagnostic testing and they were unable to repair or duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 44,000 and the current mileage was 77,000.
Temporary loss of brakes and control of car; abs light comes on. This occurred twice and each time brought to dealer. They were aware of problem and made an adjustment. Still drive uncertain whether it will happen again. Very dangerous in my opinion.

Started approximately 4500 miles and is still happening, has been in dealer for service 6 times. Sends multiple com codes impossible to narrow down abs actuator has been replaced problem resurfaced after 1 week from replacement. The car now has 10,000 miles and is now back in the shop, Nissan engineers are coming down to look at the problem. Unable to locate problem over data sent to them.
