Cracked exhaust manifolds, as a safety issue, exhaust gasses can enter the drivers compartment. Nissan has know about this issue for years, it is a defect, it is a very big issue with a very large percent of vehicles with this issue. Please issue a recall, so the manufacture pays for it and not the owner.

On multiple occasions, when I stop on stop sign or light and then start hitting gas the car won’t move , engine turn off almost to the point where no sounds come off the engine. This happened on multiple occasions on high ways, in town and keeps happening. I took to Nissan service and I was told everything is fine . Then it keeps happening creating huge safety risks .

Repeatedly drained battery, and won’t start. Replaced brake switch, replaced battery, problem continued, system updated, problems still continue. Several others are complaining of similar issues on facebook Armada group so I know many others have experienced the same problems.

My Nissan Armada is 4 years old with 42,000 miles and has needed two brake switches replaced on it to date. This is ridiculous! this car is completely unsafe. It has failed to start more times than I can count, and it most recently broke down on my on new years day. I had to have it towed. I have reported this issue to Nissan and they have done nothing to help make this right! I am now starting a facebook group (of other Nissan Armada owners that are experiencing the same issue) to file complaints against Nissan for this. This is a serious safety issue and needs to be resolved.

My car had the recall work completed about a month ago, just for your information. Yesterday, while out with a friend ,I noticed, and made comments aloud about “ is my car in drive?”…”my car feels like it’s ‘pulling’ or something, almost like the emergency brake engaged …(but it was not) periodically I continued to mutter these same types of statements intermittently. I had decided, if the vehicle continued, I would call dealership for appt. It is still under complete warranty and just turned 16,000 miles. Later that afternoon, at about 5:30 pm my friend and I were driving out of a restaurant parking lot, preparing to pull onto a (somewhat) main rd, when suddenly, and without any warning the car unexpectedly accelerated, totally, lunging us forward up a curb, up onto a berm/median, that divides north and southbound traffic, and over a boulder/huge decorative rock, app. Three feet high, slammed us back down, both very frightened , I yelled “I can’t make it stop!!” I thought to turn off engine or put into neutral ,as we were then on the wrong side of the road ,facing oncoming traffic…. My friend yelled for me to turn into another parking lot. At that juncture I was able to do so, successfully, then turned the car off. I’m still unsure if I was able to place the out-of-control car in neutral. Even with seatbelts on, we were being tossed up and down like rag dolls. Friend immediately tearful due to sternum pain & hand pain. My hand was hurting, as was my rib cage area in front right and right side of spine & knee. These “injuries” were noticeable within a few minutes of exiting the car, calming down a bit & looking to see damage. We were beyond stunned, and were attempting to figure out what had just happened to us!the undercarriage of the vehicle appeared bent, hood buckled ,pieces of under car were left in oncoming lane, paint cracks from force jamming car into curbs, median/berm & boulder. Followed Nissan protocol. Car towed to nearest dealer, they will call w/I days.
The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Armada. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 10e019000 (suspension) and 10v517000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall repairs; however, the dealer only completed the recall repair for 10v517000 (engine and engine cooling). The contact stated that the collar weld of the vehicle was separating. The contact also stated while driving 60 mph, the vehicle inadvertently stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a second dealer - jim bone Nissan (1275 santa rosa Ave, santa rosa, CA 95404) who advised the contact that she would be responsible for the cost of the repair because the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 205,000.

My car won't crank or if it does it takes several attempts. I was told it was the brake light switch. I will be taking it back to the dealer ASAP.

On January 4th, 2020 when we went to start the car, all the lights flickered and the seats rattled from electrical pulses. The car did not start at all. We have had this happen 20+ times. Sometimes when we jump the car, it will start. The dealership has replaced the battery 4 times. It is clearly not the battery. Nissan never has an answer.
The electrical components went out in the steering wheel. 1st the radio and controls went out and then the horn eventually stopped working, had to pay $300 for the part itself and even the dealership didnt have it I had to order from a specialty shop. Took all day to repair. The airbag light is constantly on but there is nothing wrong with the air bag and has been reset but it stays on. The driver side window wont roll up half the time the electrical component has went out. Sometimes it rolls down by itself. Headlights have water in them and hard to keep out after replacing them. After only having it a few months had to replace the engine bc it kept smoking. Thank goodness for warranties and at 1st they wasnt going to replace it.
The transmission is shifting incorrectly at low rpms. I can clearly see the rpm fluctuating especially going uphill. This happens 30-50 mph. Lack of power/acceleration. Feels like transmission is shifting in lower gears too sooner and and won't accelerate until driver pushes significantly. This is very dangerous especially making turns at stop lights.
On somewhat random occasions the vehicle will not start, in total over 13 separate occasions. At times it will start after 5 or 6 attempts sometimes 20 attempts. On the last 5 occasions it would not start until a battery charger or other battery was used. I have used the last occasion for date of occurrence. Had it to the dealership 3 times and they cannot duplicate. It is a random occurrence sometimes after a week and sometimes after a couple of months. The last time in November I had to jump start it 4 times before I could get it to the dealer and they could not duplicate it. The vehicle is unreliable. The regional rep is now working with me and having me take it to the dealership one more time to check it again.
Bci malfunction. The car will not start, reverse, drive, brakes randomly, etc.
Went to start my vehicle and everything but the engine would start. Tried for several minutes, locked, unlocked car then left it alone for 5 minutes and it finally started. Then, less than a week later, while I was driving, the bci malfunction warning and a bunch of other lights came on and car slowed down significantly. Had to pull over, look up this warning and follow directions others who had this same issue did. I turned vehicle off, waited a minut and turned it back on. Warning cleares. The next morning my car wouldn't start. Had to swap cars with husband so I could get to work. This morning I tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. I've now been waiting 3 hrs for a tow truck to get vehicle. Vehicle has less than 40k miles and is a 2017 model.
Vehicle tends to lose power when gas pedal is engaged. When foot is off the gas and brakes are applied while idled at traffic light vehicle tries to accelerate. I constantly have to be mindful to keep brakes firmly pressed.
Vehicle intermittently displays a bli malfunction and decelerates the vehicle while driving highway speeds. It occasionally does it while idling and will not allow the car to be put in gear. When it happens at start up, it will not allow the vehicle to start and only activates the accessories. The incidents began happening at around 55,000 miles and has been continuous and increasing in frequency since 6/20/20.

Purchased 2019 Nissan Armada, March 2019; Nov 2019 car would not start, sat for 1/2 hr was able to start with remote. Nissan in cape coral said the brake/starter was misfiring. They replaced and it worked until today Jan 21,2020. Both incidents the car was parked.
Car gave a bci malfunction warning on dash. When I turned the car off and went to restart it would not restart. This used to happen once every couple of weeks. It is now happened more than 10 times in the last two days. Sometimes the car will start other times I have to try 15 times or more before it starts.
Locking of brakes, gas pedal, and steering wheel while driving in rush hour traffic.

The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving 5 mph, he heard abnormal startling and ticking sounds coming from the engine. The check engine warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle would delay responding while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred while driving at various speeds. The contact stated that upon opening the hood to determine the cause of the failure, he noticed that the engine manifold was fractured. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly while driving. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the VIN was not under recall. No additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
Vehicle will crank but not start in very cold weather. Battery test good.
The oil fill spout came off the valve head cover resulting in massive oil spill. I was lucky I discovered it after a short trip to the store. Both pieces are made of plastic and poorly glued together with something that resembles silicone. It had completely deteriorated (the car has 49,000 miles on it) . Very disappointed that Nissan wouldn't spend another 15 cents and hold these pieces together with a clamp of some sort. I had just come back from a 650 mile trip, if this would have happened on the highway the engine would have ceased up or the car might have gone up in flames.
From slow starts, the tachometer will flutter and that hesitation is transmitted through the drivetrain to the wheels.
Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.
I've called sterling mccall Nissan of houston in fort bend county (281)243-8989. I have been waiting for two weeks for the recall parts to come in. Why does it take so long for parts to come in. I'm told that there is no estimated time of arrive which is ridiculous. Thanks, shawn martell, 832-687-7931.
When I start my vehicle a big white cloud of smoke come out the tailpipe.

While I was driving brakes donot work I almost crash , to traumatic.
My Armada shuts off while driving down the road. When it does the steering goes and the brakes won't work. I bought got rear ended trying to get off the road when it happened the first time. This is a very dangerous problem. I just got this about 6 months ago. I looked up and seen recalls on this problem but I put my VIN number in and it says there is none for my car. If it has been fixed prior to my ownership then its went out again. And again thats not good. This could get someone killed! esp if I was driving on interstate. I couldn't get out of way of traffic.
Traveling up a slight hill at about 20 mph the vehicle started losing power. The engine died resulting in a loss of power steering. I put the vehicle in park and shut off the ignition. I had no power and no power steering. After about a minute I tried and successfully started the vehicle. It attempted to die again, but I revved the engine and kept it running. It was frightening to think what would have happened if we were on a highway at 70 mph and lost power. In my opinion this is a dangerous situation. Thankfully the incident was on a county road with no traffic as we had two of our grandchildren in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The car totally shut down multiple times without warning while I was driving. The first time that I took it to the dealer it saw thought the problem was a faulty sensor in the transmission. The sensor was replaced. 4 days later the same thing happened again. The second time that this happened the dealer replaced the whole computer. I no longer have the SUV.
I had my mom, aunt and 2 small kids in the truck we were on the way to drop my mom off at her home. Once I pulled up in front of her house we noticed the truck smoking. I got out of the vehicle and looked under the hood. I observed wires burning from that point I closed the hood so that the vehicle could cool off. I then walked my mom to her front door as I walked back to my vehicle I observed my truck on fire. I immediately rushed to the vehicle and got my kids and aunt out of the vehicle. The fire department was called and responded within 7 minutes. By the time the fire department responded my truck was in full flames.

Leaving work, I tried to start my car and it tried to turn over but stopped. The dash lights went dim and the needle indicators quivered and the car quit trying to start. I cleaned the battery terminals and the car cranked continuously but wouldnt turn over. After getting it towed to a mechanic whose computer couldnt communicate with the vehicle computer, then a Toyota dealership (no Nissan dealer in my town) who had the same problem, my coworker brought me a copy of a recall by Nissan for his 2006 pathfinder for a engine control module. I had it towed for a 3rd time (total of $415. 00) to the Nissan dealer in helena, mt 65 miles away, they diagnosed the problem as a bad e. C. M. Engine control module. The service technician said "I was lucky I wasn't on the highway"!!!! now im out of $1700. 00 for a bad ecm that I was not neglegent in breaking, on a vehicle less than 5 years old. I feel since it was a faulty part, I shouldnt have to pay for it. Now im in more debt!!!.

Driving fine then after stopping at a stop sign, car would not accelerate, like it is in a higher gear. After reaching 10mph it drives perfectly fine. If after stopping you cut the engine and restart, it is fine. Reverse works fine. Code p1757 comes up on test. A bad valve body. I've seen this all over the internet mostly on Nissan '05 models, maybe some '06. Very frustrating, Nissan says I need a whole new transmission. I'm thinking a recall should be looked into. It doesn't seem to happen on other year models as much.
The a/c has been cutting high and going low all on its own. Sometimes not coming on at all. I was told it is the vbc and that it is fried. No air no part in the dead of summer in the south. I asked if there was a recall because of the leaking condenser at which that could cause my problem. I was told no and no further assistance. If there is no recall or no one else is having this problem. Why is this part on back order with no etd.
