Nissan Armada owners have reported 9 problems related to wiper (under the visibility category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Armada based on all problems reported for the Armada.
The component causing the issue is the rearview mirror of my 2025 Nissan Armada platinum. This issue occurs only at night or in low-light conditions when the automatic anti-glare feature activates. When this feature turns on and a vehicle is behind me with its headlights on, the rearview mirror becomes foggy/cloudy, significantly obstructing my rear visibility. This is a serious safety concern as it severely limits my ability to see vehicles, pedestrians, and objects behind me, especially during critical maneuvers such as lane changes, reversing, and merging onto highways. Rear visibility is crucial for safe driving at night, and this obstruction increases the risk of an accident. I reported this issue to both Nissan consumer affairs and the dealership. They confirmed that this is the intended design of the rearview mirror. However, when I asked them about the technical benefit of this design, they were unable to provide a clear explanation as to why the mirror should become cloudy instead of properly dimming like standard auto-dimming mirrors. Additionally, my side mirrors, which have the same automatic anti-glare feature, dim properly without becoming cloudy or obstructing my view. This inconsistency raises further concerns about the design or functionality of the rearview mirror. The dealership and Nissan consumer affairs have inspected and acknowledged the issue, stating that the mirror is working as designed. However, I strongly believe that this design compromises safety. There are no warning lights, error messages, or other indicators associated with this issue. The symptom appears only when the anti-glare feature activates at night, and the problem is consistently reproducible under these conditions. I am requesting a formal investigation into this issue to determine if this design meets vehicle safety standards and to prevent potential hazards for other drivers. I've attached the pictures of the event as well.
Sunroof/moonroof exploded while parked in driveway - loud firework/gunshot sound rang out between 9:30-10:00 pm. At that time, I went outside to find the sunroof/moonroof shattered. Brand new Nissan Armada purchased 5 months and 7 days ago. Could have been put at risk had it exploded while driving - the noise alone could've caused an accident no less the shattered glass falling on passenger/driver and or other vehicles behind if it had happened while driving. Not at this time - Nissan USA consumer affairs will get back with me in 5 days (3 business days and the weekend), but in the meantime my vehicle is not secure from weather or break-ins, nor is it safe to drive and was told by the dealership to not drive the vehicle. No, sunroof/moonroof was intact when parked in my driveway. Faulty glass by manufacturer that they seem to not want to cover.

This is a structural issue. The panel on the side between the windshield and the front door windows are too wide. It causes a blindspot. If pedestrians are standing a just the right position of where this panel blocks the pedestrians can not be seen. Every time before turning I have to physically lean forward to lean back to see if someone is in the blindspot. On 3 occasions, I came very close to hitting pedestrians who were in the blindspot and I could not see. One of which were 3 people one being a child. I am not able to see them until I begin my turn and then have to slam on the brakes once they are in my view.

We have a Nissan Armada that the multi av unit / computer has failed (part # given to us is 283876gy4d). The vehicle is barely 4 years old. We were quoted a $3,800 repair and Nissan has told us there is no help they can provide. Despite having purchased a 7 year 100,000 mile limited warranty this part isn't covered. Investigating online into the issue we have found that this component is problematic in many vehicles and has service bulletins associated with it. Nissan is stating that because it is gps, radio, and cabin comfort it is not a safety issue. However, it goes beyond that. We have stated several times to Nissan, that as this unit continuously reboots and malfunctions the windshield defrost / fog clearing aspect of the vehicle does not work. We have had several instances where we've had to pull over in less than desirable locations in order to manually clear our windshield. As the windshield fogs up, you can't see. Given our climate and terrain, the windshield inside can fog up instantly and without warning. If the defrost isn't working, we have to clear the windshield with a towel. This generally is a multi-stop event as it does not stay cleared very well without proper airflow. Also, the constant rebooting of the display unit is a serious distraction to the driver. The screen continuously cycles through multiple screens and the day night recognition function does not work. So if it is night time, the bright screen continuously reboots in front of your face. It is unacceptable in a 4 year old vehicle to have these issues and Nissan offer nothing and not acknowledge the fact that their vehicles have a serious safety issue. This part is a problem and no amount of "normal wear and tear" explains its failure. It is simply a faulty component from the manufacturer. My wife regularly has our 3 children in the car with her. It is not a good situation. Even if Nissan offered to pay for the part and I the labor I would be happy. To acknowledge nothing is unacceptable.

I got this vehicle from a buy here pay here with 355,xxx miles the motor runs and drives great but when I went to go down the interstate after a month having the vehicle it was shaking really bad so I called auto parts and autozone and even took it to a mechanic they all told me alignment and if that doesn't work them put new rotors and breaks and we'll it's still there and if you go 35 you can hear something rubbing and when you hit 60 it starts shaking really bad and the steering wheel is very hard to hold when this happens so still don't know what it is!.

Bought a 2004 Nissan Armada 08/08/2016 the second day I had to go to the dealers and pay close to 4xx to have a computer hooked up to it because my brake light came on and didnt have any brakes, it then happened the second week of owning the vehicle, called Nissan north America at first I was told I would be reimbursed and my problem fixed then was told its out of warranty. Regardless it was not my fault Nissan does not no how to make vehicle or fix there fauly problems. Then today I went out to start my truck and it will turn over all day long but will not start, I have a 2 year old special needs child and was heading to get his medication which can be very serious if hes without, contacted nna yet again with no luck. On top of the list of other problems iv had with this vehicle.
The driver's side sun visor is not secure against the head liner when in the up position. On uneven pavement, the visor moves quite a bit. It appears as though it may drop down in front of the operator if a large enough bump in the pavement is encountered. The visor has been replaced twice and it is still necessary to insert a folded napkin/cloth between the visor and the headliner to keep it stationary. At this time the vehicle has 1375 miles on it. I first noticed the visor movement on the drive home from the dealership (after purchasing it (new)). I'm concerned the constant movement will eventually allow the visor to (unexpectedly) drop down from the up position obstructing the driver's view of the road in front of him/her. I am working with Nissan to get the problem corrected. The passenger side sun visor doesn't appear to have this problem.
