Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Nissan Frontier

Electrical short in wiring,affecting brake lights,radio,cruise control and warning lights. The problem is getting worse ,when driving the cruise control light comes on without engaging,the brake lights in the back of the truck are completely out.

All lights would illuminate on dashboard and vehicle would not start. The radio would turn on without any key in the ignition. This would only occur when raining outside and vehicle was parked. After an hour, the vehicle started but when taking the key out of the ignition, the vehicle would still remain running for about a minute or so before shutting off hard. Upon a quick inspection of the vehicle, it appeared the wires to the electrical system were hot, and I disconnected the battery to have it towed to avoid fire risk. I have a video of what the truck was doing. This occurred 4/10/16 and is back in the shop today- 4/29/16 for the same reason.

Cd player failure. Fails to cd. Only clicking sound. I have read of many others complaining of the same problem. A cd player should not fail within 25 months. Car is over milage so there is no warrenty fix possible.

I have a 2004 Frontier extended cab. My cd player fails to work the truck is out of warranty because I commute to work for a long distance my mileage exceeds the warranty now before the 3 years. You would think you would make a cd player that lasts longer than 20 months. Come on now I have been a Nissan owner since 1984 I have owned 5 Nissans. This may be my last one.
