Hood Problems of Nissan Maxima

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated that the paint on the hood is thin. The contact bought a bra for the vehicle in order to prevent damage, but that did not help. The contact has put several coats of wax on the vehicle, but that has not helped either. The contact stated that some parts of the hood are chipped to the metal. The dealer and manufacturer have not been notified. The current and failure mileages were 35,000.

2k2 hid theft. Front lights. Hood, grill, electrical, fender and bumper damage.

Head lights were stolen from the vehicle. Damage was done to the electrical system, hood and bumper because thief knew that there was no motion sensor alarm. The brackets holding each $724 light is made of plastic and can easily be snapped/broken. The anti-theft kit doesn't do anything because it doesn't fix the issue that the lights can still be removed by breaking the bracket without opening the hood. The horn wiring was also removed because of its easy accessibility through the grill.

While I was checking washer fluid under the hood, the hood slammed down on my hand causing severe injury which required emergency room treatment : x-rays, ten stitches to one finger, abrasions and concussions. I needed a tetnus shot, antibiotics, pain killers and hand was splinted. I called the dealer and he said it was a common failure and the men in his shop are required to use a rod to support the hood because of known failures. My car did not come equipped with a rod to support the hood. Their are no caution signs on the auto nor in the vehicles manual.

Vehicle keeps pulling to right. There is a whining noise coming from the right side while driving. Uneven heating and defrost improper. Theft warning alarm will sound for no reason. Trunk and hood is asymmetrical. Vehicle gets bad gas mileage.
