As I am in a complete stop or driving slow I press the pedal to accelerate the car shakes and it is the transmission slipping and it shakes for a good 3 minutes on the road, which is dangerous for me because I'm afraid it'll stop in the middle of the road or that I'll get hit by another car since it is slipping when I'm trying to accelerate from a complete stop or trying to accelerate from a slow speed.

The vehicle shudders badly when driving at slower speeds and also when driving on highway and I checked on Pathfinder forums that 2013s have lots of complaints listed for same problem.
My engine is loosing power when driving. The car shudders(lose power) and then it has delayed engagement. Since the first time it happened it continue to happen intermittently.

I bought a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder on 2016 and in 2017 I took it to a Nissan dealership for having the shaking when accelerating, at that time the dealership told me that the transmission was the cause and that they fixed it. Now after two years have passed my car started to shake again putting me and my family in a risk of an accidents. I took it to the same dealership and I was told that it was the transmission again and now they are saying it has to be replaced since Nissan have had so many complaints for the same reason because they never notified the costumers about this issues in these suvs. But now Nissan wants to charged me $4000 for the transmission because I'm over the 100,000 miles. But when I took the vehicle the first time it was under the warranty they knew already, by then, the problem with the transmissions and that was the perfect time for them to replaced it instead of fixing it. They chosen to put me and my family at risk of causing an accident. The vehicle at this moment is sitting there at the dealership.
The vehicle shakes, jerks and shudders during acceleration at low speeds I. E. 20-40 mph. It feels like it stalls and then goes again. This happened in traffic on the freeway and on the freeway on ramp, in a roundabout and just turning or going through a light. After some research it appears it is the cvt transmission. The vehicle also has a very loud ac blower inside. It sounds like a jet engine when the fan is turned higher.

2014 Nissan Pathfinder hybrid. My vehicle failed to accelerate after stopped at a light; car shakes like it's going to stall out; car shakes when going at low speeds and lightly pressing the gas pedal, it seems as if the transmissions tries to shift but the gear doesn't go in. My vehicle shifts into od on its own. Also steering wheel doesn't feel right. Lastly, trunk closes abruptly after opening; has fallen on my head several times.
Vehicle shudders / shakes when driving 30-45 mph. Feels like not shifting properly.
Car shakes when going at low speeds and lightly pressing the gas pedal, it seems as if the transmissions tries to shift but the gear doesn't go in. The car consumes more gas than usual, and it feels very heavy even when flooring the gas pedal.
I was driving on an interstate at normal highway speed when the car shuddered as if going over rough pavement. The engine started racing, but the car gradually lost forward propulsion. I steered to the emergency lane and stopped. After a minute, the car regained just enough forward motion to get me to the next exit, across an intersection (where the light just happened to be green, thank goodness), and into the parking lot of a large grocery store before the vehicle lost all propulsion. We pushed the car the last few feet into a parking spot. It was towed to a Nissan dealership. I was told the next day that the transmission warmer had failed, allowing radiator coolant to leak into the transmission, which ruined the transmission. The repair would cost $6000. I cannot put another $6000 into a 13-year-old vehicle, even though I've only had it for five months, so now I've lost the money I put into it and will have to start over with another vehicle.

Anywhere between 15 and 20 miles my car shudders. It's to the point pint it's not safe to drive the vehicle.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving 60 mph, the vehicle shuddered and the rpms increased and decreased. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to vallejo Nissan (3287 sonoma blvd, vallejo, CA 94590, (707) 656-4483) where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced for the third time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,000.
When starting to take off (going anywhere from 5-20 mph) my car shakes like it's going to stall out, the engine or transmission does not allow the car to property speedup when accelerating. I feel extremely uncomfortable and not safe. But, I don't have another vehicle to drive. I've notice other people are having this issue too, mileage on my Pathfinder is only 49,000. It's very stressful yielding on to highways and proceeding from a traffic light I was stopped at. Also, I would like to mention that I got an oil change last week. After, doing so my car smelled like burning oil after driving more than 500 miles. I took it back to them to check that everything was done properly. They told me that my oil pan is rusted out and my oil stick needs to be replaced. Because, the rubber on the top of the dip stick is wearing. He said that is very uncommon for this age of a vehicle. Please help!!.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving between 15 to 40 mph, the vehicle shuddered and failed to accelerate properly. The vehicle was taken to m'lady Nissan (5656 northwest hwy, crystal lake, IL 60014, (815) 459-2288) where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was called and they agreed to cover half of the repair cost. The repair had not been completed. The contact stated there was a class action lawsuit that caused the manufacturer to extend the warranty from 60,000 to 84,000 miles. The failure mileage was 95,000.
65 mph, vehicle failed to accelerate but rpms went up to 7000 vehicle shuddered for 25 seconds. Next day while makig a left turn at 10 mph thru an intersection from a stop light, same exact thing happened. Got to side of road, car refused to go forward. Works in reverse but not forward. Towed to shop where new transmission was found to be the only fix. Vehicle has only 112k miles.
While driving on a highway, I accelerated- my rpms went up to 7 yet my car didn't accelerate at all but the car shuddered for about 25 seconds. One day later, while making a left turn after sitting at a stop light the same thing happened. Luckily I had just enough power to get through the intersection and to the side of the road. I put the car in park to catch my breath after that scary scene. After two minutes of the car still on I tried to drive but the car wouldn't move and it shuddered again. I restarted the car and had the same results. The car was towed to the Nissan dealership where they found that a new transmission would be necessary.
Transmission when pressing on the gas happens anytime at any speed, the whole car shakes and the vehicle doesn't want to speed up. Was merging onto highway and pressed on the acceleration just a little bit and the vehicle did not want to speed up. All it did for a few seconds was shake and shimmy the vehicle. Felt like the transmission was having issues. This started to happen at 30,000 miles with the vehicle that was just barely 2 years old. Brought to dealership and was told nothing is wrong with transmission but an outdated software for cvs trasnmisssion, they updated it and the vehicle has way higher rpms when you press the gas every so little and the transmission still does the same issu as before. Nissan still states nothing is wrong. I beg to differ when I'm getting on the interstate and the whole vehicle shakes and doesn't want to move and almost caused a crash by being hit when vehicle won't speed up but wants to shake and shimmy the entire vehicle for a few seconds then go is a safety issue!.
In the last 4 years I've replaced emissions system brakes rotors air conditioning system exhaust system radiator and transmission. Car was vibrating shaking cutting out leaking exhaust fumes and emissions system failed.

Nissan issued a "campaign" due to a class action lawsuit settlement where the cvt transmission was malfunctioned which cause shuddering in the vehicle. The vehicle would shake while driving at 20mph. After bringing the issue to the attention of the dealership they could not determine what was wrong with the vehicle. On 2/28/17 the vehicle completely immobilized on the interstate in the middle of traffic nearly causing a tragic accident involving both myself and my children. Nissan failed to send correspondence advising of the ctv update which caused the issue to go unresolved and ultimately causing the fail of the transmission. This issue should be rectified with models containing the ctv transmission. Nissan has just advised the total cost of repairs would cost me a total $4,800. 00 for their negligence of sending the proper correspondence regarding the campaign. They should buy back this car and all others like it as this can cause tragic accidents.
Vehicle shakes after reaching 40mph or higher.

The car makes a loud shuddering noise and often will not accelerate.
The transmission in my 2014 Pathfinder has been a problem since I purchased it. I have dealt with replacing computer components in the transmission, fixing faulty braking systems that cause the car to shutdown, and a transmission that was finally replace only to fail roughly 4 weeks later! the government should stop allowing Nissan to sell any car with a cvt transmission to consumers. They are unsafe and will cause a fatality wreck due to malfunctions. Nissan refuses to replace or repurchase my vehicle even though this has been an ongoing ordeal as far back as 2015. Most recently my car transmission does not change gears properly. When I slow down and try to accelerate the car will either shudder and fail to go past 20mph. Additionally I have experienced the transmission violently jerk while driving on the highway. I had to reduce my speed due to traffic, and when I tried to accelerate the car began to make a jerking motion where the speedometer jumped to 60mph and immediately feel to 20mph. The car went through this cycle for almost one minute.
Vehicle will not respond when accelerator is pressed occasionally. This poses great safety issues. Vehicles shakes tremendously when accelerating up a hill under 30 mile per hour.
Vehicle has a defective cvt transmission. Vehicle shakes or jerks upon changing gears, during acceleration or slowing down. Vehicle is also slow to accelerate upon take off, putting me at risk for other car to crash into me. Vehicle max speed is 50mph. Mechanic states cvt is faulty.
"takata recall" the car stared to vibrating while I was driving I can feel that the gear were not working properly I stopped the car call a tow truck took the car home call the mechanic and he explain to me that the problem is the coolant went into the transmission also tale me that it is a very common problem in this car. To fix it is extrimely expensive it is more that the value of the vehicle. I just fund out that almost everybody that has a Nissan Pathfinder o xterra had has the same problem. Definitely is a factory problem and we should not pay for it the company should fix it.

Bought 2014 Nissan Pathfinder new. About 2 weeks ago car began shaking upon acceleration both in drive and reverse. On 1/21/2017 car became stuck in 1st gear and upon stopping at a red light, car did not move at all. Car was towed to dealership and today was diagnosed with needing a completely new transmission.
Cvt transmission problems since the vehicle purchased as new on 05/08/2014. Reported to Nissan dealer at regular service the transmission is jerking and bucking in early January 2017. Since then vehicle at dealer service many times once for almost 4 weeks at a streach. Multiple software and program/updates with no resolution of problem. Nissan consumer affairs not responding to calls or messages left. 8/08/17 transmission rebuilt with no correction of problem. 9/11/2017 transmission replaced with no results. As of 10/31/17 Pathfinder at dealer. As per shop manager judder/jutter still present and they are waiting for Nissan response. The transmission jerks and jumps shaking whole vehicle. Nissan service unable to fix after mutiple attempts over a span of 11 months. I beleive this could be a safety issue to all in the vehicle and around if transmission fails, since this vehicle is equipped to carry 7 passengers. Nissan consumer affairs and the sales department are ignoring messages. The problem happens regularly when vehicle travelling in urban roads under 40 mph speed. This vehicle purchased as new. Serviced only by Nissan dealer where it was brought from.
Cvt is failing. Vehicle shudders and shakes at low speeds and at speeds above 60mph. Nissan dealership knew immediately what the problem was.
Tranmission cvt issue. . While driving at low miles 5-30 mph. . Car will shake shudder . Jutter shutter almost like a washing machine shaking. I did some research and it looks like I am not the only one having this issue. . . I checked my car for recall of issue and found out that it is not listed!!! how can I get this problem fixed ? it makes me feel very unsafe . . I bought this car because of the size and since my wife is pregnant and having a child. . We are afraid to drive the car now since it has this issue with the transmission.
The vehicle started shuddering and shaking while driving and when I accelerated would hesitate and after a few seconds would move a little slow with continual shaking and shuddering. Once stopped and parked I tried to the vehicle back on the check engine light would come on with the battery and wouldn't start. The vehicle was towed to Nissan where they said it was the induction air flow , ecm, and cost $400. After leaving Nissan I had to take it back the next week for the same issue. The service manager drove it and said that he thought it was the transmission and that the 2014 are known to have problems. He said to bring it back in the next couple of weeks. I took it back again after being stranded 3 times, almost hit several times and once by a semi- truck when it shuddered and would not accelerate. Nissan confirmed that it needed a new transmission because it was defective. They want me to pay $4000 because it has 80,000 miles on it. I filed a consumer complaint with american Nissan corp and they told me that there was nothing they could do because it was out of warranty. The vehicle was bought brand new. Nissan knew that the cvt was defective when they sold it. They sent out a service letter to their dealerships about the issue in September 2013. This is very dangerous and is going to cost someone their life. Nissan should backup their vehicles. A two year old vehicle should not need the transmission replaced. Especially a $40,000 vehicle. This is extremely dangerous, and theft by deception.
Brakes are prematurely worn and makes noise. At times the vehicle shudders unexpectedly which leads to pulling off the road to inspect the vehicle.
At slow speed car started shaking in hot weather with a/c on.
My vehicle had problems in 2011 when a "warranty notice" was sent regarding a radiator problem. I took the car in and they found that it was a timing belt and did not change my radiator while it was under the extended warranty and had approximatey 70,000 miles. I now have 160,000 miles and my car is acting up again and the dealership advised me the radiator is cracked and leaking coolant into the transmission so I need both repaired or my car will get worse and can cause an accident. To me it appears that this defect with the car was from the inception and it should have been recalled because it was bound to fail and it should be fixed at Nissan's cost. My vehicle is still pretty good looking but I feel it is only a shell that I am driving because of the interior radiator flaw. They indicate that since no recalls were made I have to pay the total out of pocket. I missed the lawsuit in 2013 but am willing to file another class action lawsuit if a lawyer is willing to accept it. The vehicle was shaking when I was driving it on the freeway mainly and it felt like it was not in gear and pulling. These were also my concerns in 2011 when I took it in to be repaired and fixed, but they said I had no problems. Well I do now and I wouldn't have if they had fixed the defective radiator.
I was driving around 35 to 40mph when I felt a vibration under vehicle backed off gas pedal went away after that it would come back now and then around the same speed just like you where driving on a rumble strip. Took to Nissan for diagnosis told me vehicle shifted erratically and found anti freeze in transmission, they gave a quote of more than $7,000 to fix. When I asked what could cause this they said a bushing could have been worn to let coolant into tranny, now they get info on problems that occur I just got a phony answer. Any way Nissan dosen't give their customers heads up on notifications of problems and complaints all get lost or buried . Nice support from Nissan. No more business from me. . . . . . . . 103,345miles on Pathfinder 2008 all happened on a flat smooth road driving straight.
I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder as used vehicle in September 2015. Since purchasing the vehicle my wife has complained about the vehicle shuddering at low speed or when turning. This shuddering has become more frequent and now happens when the vehicle is cruising down the road. We have also noticed that the passenger airbag will show that there is no body in the seat even when there is someone sitting in the seat. The first time we took the vehicle back to the dealership the mechanic was not able to experience the issues that we had communicated to them ad dismissed our claims. Contacting dealership 6/6 to have vehicle issues checked again.
Vehicle started vibrating at 40mph took it to a mechanic they advised that the radiator needed to be replaced and that the radiator and transmission fluids mixed, replaced the radiator flushed the transmission vehicle was at 90,000 miles drove the car another year with slight vibration still at 40mph now it is at 106,000 miles transmission is slipping when it warms up won't come out of 2nd gear looking at having to rebuild the transmission for 4500. 00, the radiator was 400. 00 plus an outside cooler for the transmission an additional 200. 00. Had I been made aware of a potential problem I may have been covered because under 80,000 miles I had an issue with the vehicle not heating up when idol the heat would only work when I drove the car and the service engine light was on but the diagnoses was a fuel cap 3 gas caps later the engine light is still on and I had a heating element replaced but it seems that the heating issue is a sign of the transmission issue. Nissan should have made it's customers aware of the issue I purchased the vehicle in 2010 with 13. 000 miles on it they were well aware of the problems. I contacted Nissan and there response was what would you like us to do I don't think the class action suit was fair to the consumer I don't qualify due to the cut off date and now the mileage but I would rather give a transmission shop 3500. 00 rather than give Nissan 3500. 00 I feel that I already paid them enough and for them to know of this issue and not notify the consumer is terrible I have 3 children I drive on the highway in fact I had my 2 year old in the vehicle when the transmission wouldn't come out of 2nd gear it slowed from 60mph to 30mph luckily I was able to pull into the breakdown lane and switch into neutral and back into drive to get it to shift so I could make it to the nearest exit.
