: the contact stated while traveling various speeds, the airbag warning light remained illuminated after an occupant who weighed 115 pounds sat in the seat. The front passenger air bag would not deploy in the event of a crash when the air bag light was illuminated. On another occasion, an occupant who weighed 150 pounds sat in the passenger seat, and the air bag light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed a diagnostic, and did not provide any error codes. The dealer and contact encountered a NHTSA recall #04v103000, regarding the air bags: frontal: sensor/control module. The dealer determined the vehicle was not involved in the recall due to the VIN. Also, the fuel gauge on the instrument panel, did not display the correct amount of fuel in the fuel tank. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump, but the problem recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted.
