The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 mph the vehicle was stalling and jerking. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to pull over safely and rest the vehicle for 30 minutes, then continued driving. The vehicle also made unknown noise. The contact took the vehicle to local mechanics who diagnosed no failure. The contact then drove the vehicle home and took it to another local mechanic which diagnosed a failure with the power train converter and transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 105,928.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at a low rate of speed, the vehicle began to jerk as the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. As the contact continued to drive, the vehicle would not accelerate above 5 mph. Once the contact and her husband made it home. She had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic where the vehicle was diagnosed with transmission failure. The contact called county line Nissan north(522 winsted rd, torrington, CT 06790) and balise Nissan of west springfield(500 riverdale st, west springfield, MA 01089) and both referred her to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered no assistance. The vehicle was towed back to the contact's house and had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.
