Yo he tenido dos frenados DE emergencia sin haber nada en el frente. Pero no sabia que pasaba. Almenos no paso nada grave. Pero vi una noticia DE telemundo que el modelo que tengo DE carro tiene problemas relacionados. Además mi asiento cuando acelero suena como si estuviera fracturado. Pero en la Nissan me dicen que está bien que no tiene nada malo.

I have had the seat (driver) replaced by Nissan when the seat moves when accelerating and stopping that was two years ago. Now the dealership supposedly replaced the seat with a new one and this is happening again where the seat does not lock in position from moving back and forth. When you accelerate the seat moves back and if you brake the seat moves forward. This is a safety issue where the driver could possibly be injured from the seating moving unexpectedly.

The driver seat would not come back up after I used the recline button. There is no sound when I push the button to raise seat back up from the reclined position. The side airbags on driver seat back are not able to protect me if there is an accident. I do not use the recline function often so I don't have a history if when it stopped functioning.

The driver's side seat is laying flat back and will not come up when I press the button. It has been like this for about two weeks. I am not comfortable driving the car but I need to have my mobility. I have a small special needs child and have not had her in the car since and have used uber on occasion. I live within public transportation in nyc so I have been taking a chance and driving like this to the subway and using the trains. I would like to see if my vehicle can be repaired under the recall #r21b9 regarding electrical issues, because based on what I am reading my issue is exactly as noted. Please review my incident and assist me in having the issue repaired. Thank you.

For the past year, the front driver seat will jolt slightly forward upon braking, and jolt/click back upon accelerating. I began to notice it when I would start the car and start driving, because the seat would move back ever so slightly, even though the seat hadn’t been moved prior as I am the only one who drives the vehicle. And then upon braking, the seat would move slightly forward. It is a very unsettling feeling because it does not feel like the seat is secure and if an accident were to occur with enough force, it feels like the seat will come off the rails completely. The car has automatic, cloth seats on driver’s side. When the car is at rest, and you are sitting in the driver seat, if you move your body, forward and back, the seat feels unsteady and moves (it never moves up or down the rail it just feels like it “clicks” into a new spot). I have read multiple other complaints on other online forums about the driver seat of the 2016 Nissan Rogue, and I believe that this is a major safety issue for the rails of the seat and being secure in the front driver’s seat. For reference, the current vehicle is around 70k miles. It has been noticeable for about a year.

The driver seat moves back and forth when stopping or starting from a stopped position, turning a corner etc. . This is a hazzard. This is a safety issue that Nissan should fix - they have indicated that the car is just out of warranty, so I will have to pay 1730. 00 to have the seat track replaced. This should not be something the consumer should have to fix- it is a safety hazzard.

The airbag light is flashing and my husband has tried the solution that was told would stop it. Did not work. Had the car put on a scanner and the results were the passenger seat airbag has a defective part. Dealership wants over 2000. 00 to fix problem. It was a recall for the problem but doesn't include the year 2010. I don't have money to have this fixed. Safety issues don't have airbag on passenger side. . .

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the driver’s side seat fractured. The contact stated that while sitting back in the seat, the seat offered no back support. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.

Passenger airbag sensor defective and doesn't work. Driver side seat is loose. These are safety issues and I shouldn't have to pay $3k to have them fixed especially when other 2017 Rogues have had recalls for same problems, just different lots. Can't afford to fix and can't buy something new.
This issue is with my 2014 Nissan Rogue that fell under the manufacturer issued recall r21b9 (NHTSA recall 22v-024). I understand that Nissan has now claimed that this recall has been resolved, but their resolution has not fixed the damage done to my car due to the recall. The r21b9 recall states . . . "in affected vehicles, if water and salt collect in the driver's side foot well, it may wick up the dash side harness tape and enter the connector. If this occurs, the dash side harness connector may corrode. If the connector becomes corroded, electrical current may continue to flow between the connector terminals, potentially causing issues such as driver's power window or power seat inoperative, all-wheel drive (awd) warning light on, battery discharge, and/or thermal damage to the connector. In rare cases, the corrosion could potentially lead to a fire, which may increase risk of injury. " I brought my 2014 Nissan Rogue to a Nissan service center in April of '22 when I started smelling natural gas coming from my car. The service center diagnosed and confirmed that this natural gas smell was due to recall r21b9. The Nissan service center returned my car to me in October of '22 after the recall resolution was completed, however, my car is still smelling of natural gas, and I cannot continue to drive this car with my family breathing in this toxic odor smell. The Nissan service center returned my car and said the issue was "fixed" and there was nothing else they could do to my car to help with the smell. They did confirm that my car still smelled of natural gas. I opened a case through Nissan corporate and they referred me back to the Nissan service center. I got the car interior detailed and the engine cleaned; but it is still has a toxic odor smell. Nissan may have fixed the mechanical issue related to the recall, but the natural gas / toxic odor smell remains, and this is a health risk to me and my family. Again, Nissan confirmed this issue came from their recall.
At seemingly random times the 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV will jerk or shudder while in motion. I would normally travel at a consistent speed but this issue causes sudden jerking/shuddering. I believe it involves the transmission. This creates a significant safety hazard to myself and others while on the road. If my car suddenly stops or significantly slows down while on the freeway it could cause a crash. Additionally when I turn corners I will periodically hear and feel a creak in the front driver's seat. It legitimately feels like the seat is not properly secured and that I would slide out of position given enough force.
El asiento tiene un ruido muy raro. Pero no se quita con nada. Y además el carro se me frenó una vez llendo en carretera.
The front seat wiring is too short so anytime the seat is pushed back it triggers the airbag light and turns off all the airbags. I called Nissan about it and they stated since I don’t have an active recall (even though there is a recall on this same issue) that they will not pay to have it fixed.
Passenger seat head rest wobbly. It may fall off if adjusted.
With no clear reason the passenger seat airbag system became defective. It did not detect passenger and always stays off. Took it to a certified Nissan dealer and they said it is a common issue, and the only fix is to reset it electrically or pay 2,500 for a new passenger seat. I opted to reset it electrically which cost $150 and was a temporary fix as the system resumed being defective after a few days. The defect is very dangerous as is disables the passenger airbag completely and will not deploy in the event of an accident which can be deadly.

There have been 2 recalls that have applied to my 2014 Nissan Rogue however my VIN has not been listed under either recall resulting in me paying out of pocket for repairs. The first recall that my VIN number was excluded from was the clock spring . The second recall is the OCS (occupant classified system). Both have issues pertaining to airbag safety.
Airbag malfunction light flashes on dashboard. Passenger side airbag deactivated light lit next to gear shift. Have been told that OCS sensor in the passenger seat has malfunctioned.
Airbag warning light came on Nissan check the problem and stated the vehicle needs a left front seat back also stated airbags will not work until the part is replaced. ( airbag is defective).

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the driver seat failed to move forward or backwards. They had to make several attempts and use an excessive amount of force to move the seat. The dealer had repaired the seat where it was able to move forward and backwards, however, not up or down. The contact then stated that while their husband was driving approximately 60 - 70 mph the instrument panel suddenly glitched and the vehicle failed to accelerate. It seemed like the vehicle was coasting only. The center computer began turning off and on. The vehicle self-corrected. Next, the front passenger side window failed to move up and down till the driver side window had been moved first. Later that same day, while their husband was driving (mileage unknown) the vehicle suddenly shut completely off. The driver waited a few minutes and was able to drive the vehicle back home where they parked the vehicle. After being parked for approximately an hour the contact was informed by the police that their vehicle had caught on fire and been put out by the fire department. A police report was filed. There were no injuries, no medical attention needed and no damage. The vehicle had been towed to their insurance company to be evaluated. The vehicle was deemed totaled. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
Passenger seat occupant sensor has failed. Yes, available for inspection. This sensor communicates with the airbag system. The front passenger airbag is disabled due to the fault. The problem has been reproduced, I have followed the process of resetting the dtc and 2 weeks later the dtc has returned. No inspection beyond owner. Vehicle producing dtc b1018 this relates to the occupant sensor which shuts off the airbag when the seat is occupied by a child or small enough adult. Nissan has had several recalls for this sensor in other models and years of this vehicle. Due to poor design the only repair is replacing the entire passenger seat at a cost of over $2000.
Purchsed a new 2021 rouge sl, I had the car for 2 days and the check engine light came on, I took it to the service center where all they did was clear the code. The very next day the car would not go into any gear and the check engine light came on again, this time they are saying it is the filler neck to the fuel tank. The rear seats also will not let down unless you push against the back of the seat and pull the lever hard, then had issues of the latch not locking the seat in a upright position unless you basically push the seat hard.

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Rogue s fwd. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speed, she became aware that the front passenger's seat light was on. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the passenger's seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure with the NHTSA campaign number: 17v716000 (sets); however, the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. However, no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.
Driver's seat shift backwards and forwards during hard acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says that they notice it but can't do anything except tighten the bolts, which doesn't make a difference. It seems to be a common problem, and it would be very distracting in a real emergency.
Driver seat moves when braking.
Car was hit.
Drivers seat is loose, has a tendency of moving when pulling off and moves while driving. Makes a rattling noise in the rear of vehicle on passenger side, not sure where what is making the noise. Backing mechanism is activate when nothing is in range.
The passenger side airbag light never goes off no matter who is sitting in the seat I think the weight sensor in the seat is broken. I just noticed that the light wasn't off when I had an adult in the passenger seat one day and still is the same. The light is sopost to go off if someone is in the seat. The light has been like this for over a year now.
Passenger seat is intermittently not registering that someone is sitting in the seat. Airbag light flashes however dealership has no idea why. Invoice says "spiral cable had a open in the windings causing code to set" on going issues with airbag sensors.
My car's front passenger side airbag light is on for the last few days. Also the passenger seat belt sign is off as well. My vehicle park in the driveway most of the time. I drive around only for groceries.

Air bag light stays on. The OCS indicator in the drivers seat has malfunction.
I was driving at night on a backroad highway & noticed the driver headlight out so I started used my brights, then noticed smoke & flames coming from the driver side headlight I immediately pulled over called 911 & tried pouring water on it myself while I wait. Took about 8 mins for police & maybe 12-15 for fire department. The police tried to use a fire extinguisher which did not work, by the time fire department got there the whole car was completely up in flames & burnt to the ground.
Clock suddenly started resetting every time I turn on engine. Cannot manually set time and keep it. Driver's seat does not click securely in place. Moves back and forth with movement in seat.
When in gear (drive, reverse, low) the car will vibrate constantly as well as at a stop not just while driving. The seats are constantly moving (vibrating, creaking while turning) when speeding up it hesitates to shift or shifts rough.
2019 Nissan Rogue sl seats move when stopping the vehicle or accelerating. Took to Nissan cannot duplicate the problem but every passenger that rides in my car feels the seat move and make noise. Sunroof makes a creaking noise Nissan won't fix says can't duplicate the problem. When car is on uneven ground back end makes a creaking noise. Again Nissan said cant duplicate the problem. But whoever I take in my car asked me what is that noise? this car is a piece of crap!.
