While driving the steering wheel pulled to the left then shook a little after. Then it kind of pulled to the right. I kept driving and later in afternoon received email from Nissan that my electronic power steering system may not be functioning properly. They recommended to have it serviced ASAP. Same drive, a car pulled in front of me and I did not get a verbal or audible warning regarding a possible front collision. My adas was repaired in August. While cars stopped at red light, I came up on a stopped vehicle purposefully and got very close. No warning again with a system that was repaired last month. No braking either.

Whilst driving my 2023 Rogue the awd light came on with a warning malfunction see owner’s manual and the check engine light came on. The start/stop/ idle feature turned off at the same time. . I was not able to stop so I reduced my speed from 55 to 40 and proceeded to finish the drive an additional 12 miles. I parked the vehicle and called for an appt at Nissan. I took the car in for service and when I got there I showed them the pic of what the dashboard was reading. I later received a text that no warning lights came on when the service tech attempted to drive it to make his report. I was recommended to pick up the vehicle and if it happened again to return. I cannot and will not drive this vehicle. I have only been driving the car for 7 months and this is the second issue I have had with it. I do not feel safe or comfortable driving it.

The vehicle was recalled and when they reprogrammed the ecm, a code p11a9 appeared which led to the vcr actuator. They had to perform a vcr base position learning procedure. Initially, the service tech and service manager told us we needed a new engine. Also, the adas and lane departure parts needed to be replaced as the crash malfunction light came on at about 65 miles.

A warning ?? keep coming up. The only thing I can see according to manual is to take it to a dealership. My blind spot detection is flashing on when nothing is there. When it stops then it's no longer working at all. Every time I go to take it in the dealership is works correctly. My power windows are no longer working as they should either. There is a recall that looks like this same issue on Rogues but my VIN isn't included. When it's diagnosed at auto center nothing comes up even with the ?? showing.

My Nissan Rogue is experiencing issues with the throttle body leading it to mal function lights warning see owner manual at 27k miles which also the air mass flow sensor code is coming on p101 at very low mileage. In which those parts are suppose to last for years more mileage I’m concerned for the safety of this vehicle as it’s being very costly and defective and the issues are appearing same symptoms as recalls but the car VIN is not listed this car feels unsafe as it has gone through a few recalls. This car has been inspected by dealership and I was aware of the situation because of them in a diagnostic report.

I am reaching out because recently I have been getting messages display on my dashboard of malfunction lights along with a check engine light currently my car has 27k miles I bought it brand new zero miles at the dealership of universal city Nissan who closed down I have gotten my maintenance with the nearby certified Nissan and kept up to date however this message only displays on startup and goes away when I turn it back on I took it to the dealership for my oil change and a recent recall after the recall I got the messages and I took it back again and it appears my throttle position sensor to be reading 6% upon start up in which they said it means sticking upon start up and I have done my research Nissan are doing recalls on this and it is exactly the symptoms I have now on my car I am very concerned because the dealership it trying to charge me and my car has been kept to date and all these recall issues are concerning me with the safety of my car. I wanted to reach out if I can get it fixed at the courtesy of Nissan since my VIN is not listed but it is having the exact symptoms.

Vehicle could not brake. The abs brakes did not function and forward collission warning did not go on causing a collission with another car that cut in front of car. This caused collission, airbags to deploy and car is totaled. Driver and passenger were injured due to crash and air bag deployment. On the day of crash I received a warning in my app requesting I have my abs checked at dealer because abs brakes might not function properly from Nissan.

On March 25th the dealership said our car was on a recall for r25e2 the dealership performed the ecm software update fix at this time. On April 30th 2026 the engine suffered catastophic failure. The heat stopped working the car was not showing hot the dial was at 1/4 it is usually at 1/2. The oil light flashed my husband lost power steering and it died at a 4 way stop. There was so much white smoke coming out the tailpipe he thought it was going to catch fire. The dealership is saying the car is not under the recall because they "fixed" the software. There were no warning lights or anything the only warning was the heat not working. He only made it 8 miles past out house before this happened. The software failed to protect the hardware from the safety defect. The dealership said the head gasket blew from overheating but they are saying it is not the recall they dont know the reason even though my husband and I have stated our car was affected by this recall or they would not have completed the ecm software update which clearly is a failed remedy. January of 2026 the front radar sensor bracket is deformed/bent causing forward collision avoidance system to completley fail. Despite no impact damage to the front bumper, the dealer and third party warranty are denying the claim as an accident. This failure occured during the January ice storm in georgia Nissan TSB ntb23-011c identifies ice build up behind the fascia as a cause for bracket deformation. This is a known design flasw that disables the safety systems including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, forward collison warning and automatic emergency braking. My car only has 46,000 miles all of these systems should not be failing.

Nhtsa 22v-024, r21b90 original case #11722884 dealership, stelly Nissan of yorktown heights, lied about the recall eligibility of my vehicle on March 5th, 2026. When I researched my own service records, 2014 Nissan Rogue VIN is actively included in recall 22v-024 for the electrical connector fluid-wicking defect. The franchise dealership misinformed me regarding my vehicle's eligibility and failed to physically perform the mandatory wire harness remedy. They subsequently bypassed federal compliance by illegally marking the safety recall as closed or completed in the system without executing the physical repair. I have the physical invoice dated 11/25/2022, 0. 00 parts/labor and visual inspection only, which contradicts what the recall procedure was defined as. Because the dealership skipped this mandatory safety remedy, the unaddressed fluid-wicking defect has now caused severe, cascading electrical system failures across multiple dashboard components. The vehicle remains an active electrical fire hazard as described in the original 22v-024 defect report. I am filing this new complaint specifically to report dealer recall non-compliance and enforcement violation. I request that NHTSA compel the manufacturer to execute the physical recall remedy immediately to mitigate the fire risk. As a matter of course, it is not currently a possibility to work with either the dealership, who has ceased communication with me, or Nissan consumer affairs who blatantly ignored that the recall was not performed and cited it as closed, a violation of federal law. Vehicle has been at dealership since 3/6/2026 and I have a large collection of supporting evidence that dealership has refused to comply with nys dmv and nys ag requests for mediation. Patterns examined at same dealership, case-in-point, suggest that this needs to be examined further and according to the law, not via a private consumer.

Vehicle will come up with a collision warning and tell you to refer to the owners manual. And then tells you to pull over and shuts off the vehicle. After 10 seconds vehicle starts up again and drives. My wife it have been seriously injured or worse had others in the road not been paying attention. No check engine light. Researched multiple people online with the same issue. Vehicle needs to be recalled. This is a dangerous safety issue.

The car lost power when I got in the vehicle, I had to walk to my daughters school to pick her up. I waited for geico to give me a jump start. When I received a jump start, the system came up malfunctioned, and could not be driven. When I asked geico, if I should change the battery, he mentioned that the battery is not a problem. I turned off all the lights before parked the evening before. Picture is attached.

Check engine light appears and it states engine malfunction speed reduced.

During highway driving, my 2023 Nissan Rogue experienced sudden loss of power and entered limp mode without warning. Engine rpm surged abnormally, forward driving and collision avoidance sensors became disabled, and the vehicle could not accelerate properly. The fuel range also dropped rapidly during this event. This created a dangerous situation in traffic (I was in the mountains in virginia) and placed me and other motorists at risk. The condition is intermittent and did not leave diagnostic codes. The vehicle was taken to a Nissan dealership, where recall repairs and ecm reprogramming were performed, but no root cause was identified and there is no assurance the problem will not recur. I am concerned this is a serious safety defect involving loss of propulsion and disabled safety systems.

Reverse & forward collision warning light flashing on the dash at different periods of time, temperature and speed of vehicle. Unknown if warning light is flashing if collision airbags will deploy if in accident. Reported to four star Nissan in denton, TX, service tech advised no issue, could be because I drive on "rural" roads, when though my driving is all highway miles, showed the service techs the display, showed them pictures and videos of the warning light coming and going, and they said there is no error. It does not have a constant display, it comes and goes at different times, speeds, temperatures. First appeared approx. 1 week after I purchased the vehicle on 12/23/2025, light started displaying on 01/04/26 and has continued since.

Forward collision alarm set off causing the car to stop and steering to change while in cruise control this was on the freeway. This happened even after the sensors were changed. The car needs to taken off the road before someone is seriously injured or killed.

The vehicle intermittently loses power and displayed “engine malfunction/ service now” warnings beginning several months ago. Diagnostic code u0652 (lost communication with egr system) was recorded. This failure was later confirmed by a Nissan dealer, who identified a faulty egr valve and differential-pressure sensor, with low coolant and internal coolant loss (no external leaks). During review with Nissan’s regional case manager, engine contamination was noted as a factor, yet this information was never disclosed to me by the dealership. The egr valve, cooler, and sensors share coolant and exhaust pathways with the engine, meaning contamination within those circuits can block sensors and cause drivability loss or limp-mode events — exactly what occurred. Despite these findings, Nissan classified the issue as “unrelated” to recall r25a8, which involves internal bearing debris and coolant contamination capable of circulating through those same systems. Nissan offered to cover only 50% of repair costs and refused to provide their decision in writing. Nissan’s recall inspection procedure requires removal of the oil pan and inspection for debris, which was never performed. I was provided an oil sample after diagnosis - proof that the pan was not dropped. This raises concerns that Nissan failed to follow the prescribed recall diagnostic process. Additionally, I have been forced to personally pay hundreds of dollars for a rental vehicle because Nissan stated rental reimbursement would not be provided until the repair is completed, despite the vehicle being undrivable due to the recall-related defect. I do not feel comfortable proceeding with the repair or continuing to drive the vehicle in its current condition, as the underlying recall issue has not been properly addressed or resolved. This defect poses a serious safety risk due to potential engine failure, sudden power loss, and internal coolant contamination that could lead to further mechanical damage or fire.

The fuel gauge has failed. The ac unit has been finicky since I purchased the vehicle and has already received one repair. Fuel gauge has been reading incorrectly for 2 weeks now. Read that it is a common issue for the Nissan Rogue sports. A few days ago my forward collision warning came on and said system error. There were no objects in front of me or stuck to the vehicle.

Cvt has failed. . . . Drive goes forward reverse goes forward neutral goes forward always gives see drivers warning call maintenance and check manual . . . Transmission is burning so high the transmission fluid is evaporating. . . . I've called so many times to have fixed but when it has a warranty they wanted $115 times 3 because of three components in the tranny needed to be checked and I couldn't pay that so now it's a giant paperweight that is used fir storage that I pay 412. 32 a month for that cannot be driven. . . . It sputters shakes stutters jerks and slams something gear but will not go up any hill . . . I believe that the transmission should have been recalled in this model as well . .

This vehicle was manufactured on 01/2022, I purchased it new in 05/2022, and it currently has 49,000 miles. Nissan manufacturer recall number r25a8, NHTSA recall number 25v-437, and the recall is incomplete, as a remedy not yet available. The dealerships cannot tell me if my car may be affected by engine failure and Nissan extending warranties on the engine does not make me any safer from a potential engine failure that could result in an accident. Additionally, on 9/16/2025 my 30 cameras stopped working. , I took it to the dealership for diagnosis and was told it needs an avn control unit ($1500 for part and labor) and potentially a main harness ($4650 parts and labor). The avn control unit is required for most of the safety features including: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assistance. It seems unreasonable that a vehicle that is less than 4 years old with less than 50,000 miles would have an electronic failure already. Of course, the warranty was 3 years or 36,000 miles.

The vehicle dtc was 11a9, they said everything was checked and “fine”. The crash collision/malfunction light came on second day of owning brand new vehicle. 2sensors are bad and need replacement. Vehicle has 437 on it.

I know of recall. Nissan has been unable to address. Had my car go in for several malfunctions in August. Battery also bad. Now driving on I-35 nb from san antonio, TX, car malfunctioned. Car was unable to maintain speeds which could have caused an accident. Car under warranty for 1 more month. I was almost to new braunfels, TX with my 2 year old in the backseat. Had to find a way home on backroads as it was also raining. I tried to have them resolve before and was told no remedy. Now I’m having engine issues. This could have resulted in a bad outcome due to these issues on a high speed hwy and my car dropped to 35 and I was unable to go faster. This recall needs a remedy immediately. I will be contacting Nissan and local Nissan to address these issues now.

On Saturday, while driving my 2023 Nissan Rogue (currently under recall) down the highway, the vehicle suddenly lost all acceleration. At the same time, every warning light illuminated on the dashboard. This occurred without any prior warning, forcing me to quickly and unsafely maneuver to the shoulder of the road while traffic was moving at high speeds. Component or system that failed: powertrain/engine/acceleration system (vehicle is available for inspection upon request). Safety risk: my safety and the safety of others were at risk because the sudden loss of acceleration occurred in the middle of highway driving, creating a dangerous situation where I could have been struck by oncoming vehicles. Reproduction/confirmation: unknown. The incident has not yet been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Inspection status: the vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. Warning lamps or prior symptoms: all warning lamps illuminated at the time of failure. There were no prior warning messages or symptoms before this incident occurred.

While driving the car, sometimes the collision light will come on and the car will automatically stat braking even through there are no car in-front or around.

The vehicle has activated a false aeb on several ocassions since I purchased the vehicle. I immediately took it back to Nissan and they stated there were no recalls and the vehicle seemed to have no issues. I've had the vehicle for 5 years and it continues to occur, nearly causing a traffic collision.

2021 Nissan Rogue sport. While driving, the forward collision warning/automatic emergency braking system will sometimes activate without reason. The vehicle applies the brakes suddenly, even when there are no obstacles, vehicles, or hazards in front of me. This false activation occurs intermittently and poses a safety concern, as it can cause unexpected braking in traffic. The issue has happened under normal driving conditions, without any obstructions on the road.

2021 Nissan Rogue sv fwd 5n1at3baxmc6*****. Water leaking inside interior during rain storm in upper left drivers side corner of vehicle. Shifter delayed when shifting into park, neutral, reverse, or drive and shifter assembly indicator lights are out. Reference ntb21-069a. This is a known issue. A corrupted shifter assembly has caused this vehicle to display multiple warnings such as cvt warnings , shifter position warnings, front and rear crash sensors unavailable, and a multitude of other electrical system warnings. Communications with Nissan consumer affairs and Nissan service departments both of which state the vehicle is out of warranty and repairs for this known issue will be charged to customer despite evidence this is a manufacturing defect known to exist within this year make and model.

I had the service malfunction turn on while driving on the express way and the collision sensors turn on and my steering wheel locked while driving almost causing a huge accident on the expressway.

While driving on the highway going 65mph my forward collision popped up and no car or pedestrian was in front of me. Then my check engine light came on and my car started to slowing down. I had to immediately get off the highway and stopped by o’reilly were the guy had to reset the lights so I could at least get home. This is not the first time this has happened. This happened to me a month ago and luckily I was a mile from home where I was able to park my vehicle but the next day everything was off and I was able to drive my car normal to work. I’m not sure what’s going on with this vehicle. But I only had it for 3 months and I purchased this vehicle from carmax. I need this to be looked at and resolved quickly but I do use my vehicle for work.

My vehicle abruptly went from 65 to 30 while driving with my children on the expressway. The check engine light and three other lights came on, and the car wouldn't start for an hr or so, and then it wouldn't accelerate past 25-30 miles, while all the check engine light and the other lights continued to stay on.

Windshield camera overheats causing crash sensor warnings, lane departure will not work. Cruise control will also not work.

It started when I purchased it in February 2025 mileage was 99200 I noticed the seatbelt warning signs didn’t ding if I didn’t have my seatbelt on. And the sunroof not only was leaking but it is coming apart where it is held in place I’m afraid it will suddenly come down and strike me without notice while driving. Theee days ago I noticed the airbag light came on while I had the driver assist engaged so I stopped and turned the driver assistance light on and then off which caused the airbag light to turn off . But today with 1100 miles on the vehicle I was driving and the light. Came on as I was driving again. I tried turning off the drivers assistance button but the light stays on!!! I’m concerned about the safety while driving with the airbag light, the seatbelt not signaling when the seatbelt is not on it ding to remind me that someone doesn’t have their seat belt on. At lastly , I believe that I am going to be injured by the sunroof motor fulling down while I am driving causing a car wreck and or injuring me or a passenger. The OCS system in the 2015 model needs to be fixed before serious injury occurs.

I received a recall in the mail and around June I have calling since then try to get my recall repaired , I went the dealer today and they tell me they do not have the parts I am trying to get my recall repaired before emission and just wanted to report this matter.

1)backup camera freezes. I need to pause the car and wait a minute then it will restart. This happens a couple of times a week. 2)also, there have been several times when going down a hill, my forward collision warning light and sound goes off and it feels like a light emergency brake is applied. (though the dealer told me that I did not have the automatic emergency braking). This occurs for about 2-3 seconds and then stops on it's own. I have never seen anything in the road that would set this off. This has happened about 4 times within the last 6 months or less.

Our 2019 Nissan Rogue sv crash warning light came on the instrument cluster, also it stopped letting me know when I was going over the lane. The warning sign is still coming on and will not turn off. The button switch on left section on the steering wheel do not functioning. After a diagnostic test it was shown to be the forward collision warning (fcw). I understand that this seems to be a problem with this particular type of vehicles and it has been reported many times but no recall have been initiated, I feel very unsafe driving it, it is estimated the cost to repair this problem is about $2600.
