Windshield Problems of Nissan Rogue

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 70 mph, the rear windshield inadvertently shattered without warning. The vehicle was taken to safelite auto glass where the window was being replaced. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was advised to call the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 13,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked at the residence, the rear windshield exploded without impact. Safelite auto glass was contacted and arrived at the residence and replaced the rear windshield. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was distortion on the front windshield. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the dealer replaced the windshield on two separate occasions; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and sent a field technician to inspect the vehicle at the dealer. The field technician recommended that the front windshield be replaced with an after-market windshield from another auto glass company. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

2019 Nissan Rogue. Consumer writes in regard to safety recall notice 19v-654 rear visibility issue. The consumer was unable to see out of the rear window, at times due to large bubbles in the windshield. The consumer stated the there were acid rain spots in the paint. The dealer and manufacturer were made aware of the failure.

2015 Nissan Rogue. Consumer writes in regards to power steering failure, blind spot detection failure, cracked windshield replacement, front fender and hood paint issues and other vehicle problems. The consumer also stated, the climate controls did not work, and heat barely came out of the vents.
