1 Steering Tie Rod Assembly problem of the 2022 Nissan Sentra

Failure Date: 11/19/2024

One day in January this year, I felt a vibration in my steering wheel. I brought my car to a tire shop for alignment and wheel balancing but the problem was unsolved. Two weeks ago when I opened the dmv renewal form, I saw that there is a recall for my 2022 Nissan Sentra. Per nhsta recall no. 23v-581, it states that the manufacturer may have installed a cheap, weak or substandard tie rods. As a result, the steering wheel may be off center and experience vibration which is exactly my problem. I brought to a dealership and they were able to replace the defective tie rods. However, the vibration in my steering wheel remains. I believe that overtime, the substandard tie rods originally installed by the manufacturer may have affected and/or damaged all other components related to steering. If they have installed the right parts then I should have be having this problem and Nissan should be liable for this matter. I called Nissan north America consumer affairs yesterday and the lady who has an indian accent hung up on me. I hope that nhsta could do something regarding this issue.

I had to replace tbe tie rod and steering gear at 70,000 miles in Nov 2017. I've just been told that the transmission needs to be replaced and I am only at 76,000 miles. T am in an active bankruptcy so I can't replace the car because the car dealership will approve me for a loan that has 18 percent interest. This is cost me a lot of stress. A lawsuit needs to be filed.

10 Steering Tie Rod Assembly problem of the 1993 Nissan Sentra

Failure Date: 03/12/2008

I have had many problems that is costing me lots of money now to fix. 5 years ago, my distributer cap cracked, reason unknown. Driven by old lady. Because it cracked, it caused water to be able to seep in, causing the car to stall out. Don't know why it would have cracked. Another problem it has is when I went to use the cruise control, springs flew out of it. I had never used it before. Another problem is the axels, cv joints and steering kit. Everything went out on my car. One lead to the next. I can't realign my car because my steering kit and tie rods are shot along with my axels and cv joints. Because of these problems, I have had to replace my tires twice from them wearing down. I would fix it but when I got it all priced, it was almost $2000. I can't afford that.
