Failure Date: 04/05/2015

On April 5th, 2015 when attempting to transfer from my wheelchair to the drivers seat of my 2013 Nissan Titan the grab handle on the a-pillar broke causing me to fall onto the ground. The inertia was enough to cause my wheelchair and I to go over backward resulting in injuries to the back of my head and left elbow.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2013 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 09/30/2013

My tpm warning light continues to come on for no apparent reason. This has happened from day one. The elevation and outside temperature have no bearing on whether or not the light functions properly. I have nitrogen filled tires. The dealer ship says they can't find anything wrong with the system and don't bring the truck back. This is a new 2013 Titan. The dealer ship said it was a Nissan problem. I am constantly pulling over to check my tire air pressure. This makes long trips difficult and scares my wife when ever she drives it. Nissan says to take it bac to the dealer.

4 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2006 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 09/02/2013

While waiting for my wife to come out of a store with truck running I noticed a light flickering in the store window. My wife came out of the store and got into the truck. While backing out I noticed the flickering light in the window coming with me. When I stopped the truck I noticed smoke coming up over my hood then the cab of the truck started to get warm. I noticed a burning smell and told my wife that I think my truck was on fire. I got out of the truck, went to the front and saw the condenser fan motor on fire. I was able to extinguish the fire with a can of coke that was on the ground. A little while later it flammed up again and had to get a bucket of water from the store clerk. The fire caused over $4100. 00 in damage. I had a recall on this condenser fan motor, had it taken care of in February 2012. Caught fire on 09/02/2013.

6 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2006 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 03/16/2012

About a month ago I notice a weird noise coming from underneath my truck whenever I would slow down and sometimes speed up. As the week went by I notice the noise getting louder. It started out with a clicking sound then it intensified with a clucking sound. After having a local shop look at my truck they found fluids by the right break, which indicated that a seal had gone bad and they also told me that the clucking and clicking noises are from the gears in the differential. Pieces of the gears had broken off. They estimated a job like this would run about $3500!!! I do not have the kind of money! I have read all the treads posted by people who have this same problem and have contact Nissan's consumer affairs department and got nowhere! please advise me how I can have Nissan pay for this!!!.

7 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 11/29/2011

2005 Nissan Titan king cab 2x4 leaking oil from both side of the axle. Problem axle seak failure. Upon taking the truck into the dealership for checkup and they quoted me for about $1700. 00 in repairs. As per there TSB they will replace both axle seals and axle "TSB ntb10-032" if the seals fail on most of the Titan's shouldn't Nissan do a recall on this plus when I was there the service man stated that there TSB says to replace both axle which drives up the cost instead of just replacing the axle seal.
