The exhaust manifold on my Nissan Titan cracked prior to reaching 95k miles. With the crack, exhaust fumes are making their way into the ac system causing the cab of my truck to become filled with carbon dioxide. I have done adamant research and determined that I can replace the manifold at a local shop, but that almost every Titan owner out there has experienced cracked exhaust manifolds.

I drove my 2006 Nissan Titan le to mcdonald's on elk street which is like 5 miles away from my house when you got food came back to my house which is 1700 swanson drive space 43 when inside came back out radiator blew out the bottom replaced radiator and then transmission started going out electrical units relays going out replaced but still truck is acting up really bad I have replaced the radiator transmission bracket tons and tons of fluids a bunch of electrical fuses really tired of working on my truck transmission is going out and I don't feel like I should have to pay for this problem when it all occurred at one time I have this trucks financed I still owe $17,000 on it and it barely runs I would like to proceed on maybe figuring out a way to help me get a new transmission or getting a different vehicle.

Front differential has failed, sever cracking in the housing. Loud whine/grumble is heard when in both two wheel drive and four wheel drive. All lubricants have been serviced under manufacture recommendations. After reviewing online, I see this has been a common problem for Nissan Titans.

Tonneau cover flew off back of truck on busy highway. Car coming behind truck hit it, rolled and did significant damage to their vehicle. All four clips were on tonneau cover, so if one clip came off, the other three should have held cover in place. Shortly after this accident, I was told by two other individuals that the same issue happened with their tonneau cover, however, no accident occurred. I was also told by another individual that the truck liner flew from the back of the truck. There should be some time of safety harnesses on these truck parts. The brackets that were used to hold down the tonneau cover on the Nissan Titan were not user friendly, nor very accurate for the dangers that could occur from the cover flying off the vehicle.

Exhaust manifolds are obviously a flawed design that causes undue maintenance and pollution. I have had the exhaust manifolds replaced under warranty and they need to be replaced again, approximately six months later. Nissan should be held accountable for this poor and unsafe design and be liable for replacement after the emissions warranty lapses. Or they should replace the defective manifolds with a design that doesn't causes cracking.

For the last year I had heard a noise that sounded like an exhaust leak. Smelled fumes inside the car. Dealer confirmed manifold was cracked, but since the car had 82000 miles on it, they would not replace it.

Have taken it to two different repair shops and have both (drivers/passenger side) exhaust manifold are cracked. Have gone to Nissan for the repairs . Nissan has stated that its a known issue on Nissan Titans for the years of 2004-2007 but won't replace it. Was quoted for the repair of $3,000. Its just out of the miles on the 80k/8year emissions warranty, but still time frame.

Loud exhaust sound coming from the front, on both sides for the engine compartment. Due to a craked manifold. I could also smell exhaust fumes inside. I keep the window cracked open when I drive for safty reasons, mostly when I have my wife and kids in the vehicle.

Takita recall I'm having this problem since I bought this vehicle took it back to dealer call Nissan now a solution to fix any thing basically every time I start my vehicle is making a tick tick sound though it was my exhaust took it to my mechanic after a period of time he finally said it was manifold it has a crack I think it's a manufacturer defective part so here I am please help . Both exhaust manifolds are cracked. I was under the impression that this was a recall. When I called they said it was only a warranty issue up to 80,000 miles. Both were cracked well before the 80,000 mile. While waiting on the recall 80,000 has since passed. By doing some research I found that Nissan knew about the defect but did not recall fix the issues. I would thing that an exhaust manifold would need to be recalled and fixed. This could case several issues such as the possibility of exhaust fumes filling the interior, also with the extreme heat coming from the cracks could easily ignite a fire in the engine compartment.
