Took my Nissan Titan xd into the tim dahle Nissan to get my recall done and also my ac fixed since it was broken, let them know that I had a light turn on and then turn back off, they said that they would look at it. When messaging with the service advisor he had told me that the part that was issued for the recall could not be done because there was something already wrong with my truck. I had not had any problems previously when I took it in just weeks prior and it was never brought up when they looked at it before. They then told me I shouldn’t drive it very far because it is not safe, I just wanted to take it in for the recall part but they refused to do it for me even though it would help. I was very unhappy with how I was treated and how they denied me a part that should be put in regardless. But they had just told me it would be pointless to put it in.

Peoria Nissan found a bad weld at the right front strut tower. The weld failed causing a crack in the frame. As a result the entire frame required replacement. Nissan refuses to offer any warranty other than a one year parts warranty for the frame beyond the original manufactures warranty which ends August 2025. Two service advisors advised me they have seen three frames fail in the same area at their dealership.

I am experiencing engine stalling. I have also experienced dome light flickers or not turning on on occasion along with radio and phone charge connection not always working, like a short of some sort. Also the mirror button allowing the driver and passenger side mirrors to open close sometimes fails as if wiring is ok sometimes and other times not there is not an exact date for the issues as they have occurred on and off since 2019 I did take the truck into Nissan 11/2023 as the radio blacked out and would not turn on. I was told the main harness had a shorted out wire and a jumper wire should be installed. Nissan installed a jumper wire for the radio. Occasional flickering lights, charging connections, mirror operations, and engine stalling still remained.

Alternator harness is defective in my 2019 Nissan Titan. My truck has stalled on me twice while running and my air conditioner compressor has stopped working and radio is not working properly, and it is draining my battery, there is a delay when starting my vehicle as if it does not have enough power. I replaced the air conditioner compressor and vehicle battery. After replacing the air conditioner compressor it stopped working after two weeks. I can hear the air conditioner struggling when it is turn on, my radio and back up camera stop working all of sudden as if it is not getting enough power, then it will start working again. Radio turns on and off by itself. My vehicle omits a burnt smell from the engine. A research of the issues with my vehicle I located a recall with similar issues (19v495000) that affected 2017-2019 Nissan Titans.

Loud rattle/knocking from engine while driving. Truck shut down with no advanced warning and would not start or turn over. Got off road and had vehicle towed. 2 different diesel mechanics suspect broken crankshaft.
I want to put on record that the rear camera system is not able to be adjusted to a point where you can visually see after dark. To further the issue, the reverse lamps are not adequately bright enough to safely back up using the mirrors at night. I do understand this is the last model year for this vehicle however there is surely an issue that can be resolved by Nissan. After having the issue myself I had looked online and find a disturbing amount of complaints related to the issue.

The vehicle lurches forward during stopping for a traffic light, stop sign, etc. Feels like a possible transmission issue, like a hard downshift, but the lurch is a safety issue. Has been happeneing since the truck was purchased, and the dealer service has been unable to resolve. Service manager drove in the truck and confirmed the jolt forward. Forums indicate this issue is occurring with other 2024 Titan trucks. The lurch forward can interfere with stopping distance since the lurch is stronger than the braking efficiency during that sudden jolt. This issue has been ongoing since November 2023 with no resolution.
I cannot make calls on my hands free becuse there is a problem with the tcu. Nissan is aware of this important safety issue and they want thousands to fix it. I cannot use my hands free in my truck, I can hear the voice of others but they cannot hear me. Its a huge distraction when making and receiving calls. This tcu is causing the mic not to work. Nissan has a technical bulletin on this. It is under classification: el18-006 and reference: ntb18-023=Nissan; microphone does not work.
There have been many complaints about the rear end of this truck and it says they been waiting for a recall for 6 years over the rear end of this truck and mine went out wile on the high way at high speed I defnatly feel my life was in danger and many others also how do I get this handled I need my rear end fixed I can not go to work I am fixing to be homeless over this issue and it could have ended with me loiseing my life.

I am the owner of a 2016 Nissan Titan xd, which has a 5. 0 diesel engine. I have concerns reading about the current status of a preliminary investigation by your agency regarding the crankshaft breakdown while driving without or warning. My vehicle has 57,000 miles, and while I still have not suffered breakdown I do have concerns on the safe driving this Titan xd. I purchased this vehicle to travel towing a travel trailer, and traveling with our grandchildren. I reading what other Titan owners have indicated, I now have concern on the safety of traveling in highways and suffering such a breakdown. I also travel on mountain roads to reach vacation sites around our area, and having no control in such conditions make me unsure of the safe travels. I worry on my $52,000 investment may be non dependable, or unsafe to use. I am requesting a your agency find a conclusion to the investigation as soon as possible, as the safety of owners, and other drivers could be in danger. I welcome updates of the progress of the investigation via email hjaramillo52@yahoo. Com, or mail box #233 santa clara, nm 88026. I also welcome phone contact at 575-519-2347. Thank you for your agency service to protect the welfare and safety of highway, and vehicle hazards. Respectfully horacio jaramillo w.
78000 miles both turbos blown. Nissan says they have some kind of warrantee up to 150000 miles and will fix one but not both. When you can't run the truck with only 1, the big one took out the small one and now it sits at dealer. The entire fuel system replaced only a hundred miles ago for over $17000. 00 an now expected to pay $5200 for the small turbo. This truck was supposed to last 500. 000 miles what a lemon.
In cold weather, generally below freezing, the tailgate of the 2019 Titan will not open. When attempting to open the tailgate, the latch is lifted up, but the tailgate will not open. However, once the temperature rises to high 20's, low 30'sf, the tailgate will open on its own. I believe lifting the tailgate latch puts this sequence into motion. In the first incident, I tried to open the tailgate in cold weather, it would not open. Then, while traveling down a highway, the tailgate opened by itself resulting in several large toolboxes spilling out of the bed and onto the highway. I was not aware of this until I got to my office. The truck was taken to a Nissan dealer who replaced the electrical and mechanical tailgate locking mechanisms (under warranty) in January 2024. Now, in January 2025, with the recent cold spell in the northeast, the tailgate again would not open. And as before, later the tailgate fell open on its own (thankfully there was noting in the bed of the truck). I took the truck to the same Nissan dealership and explained that tailgate problem was not fixed. The technician looked on her computer and, I am quoting, said to me "this is a common problem". I asked if there is a safety recall on this issue and the tech told me "no". Nissan stated I would have to pay for the fix this time as it was over a year since the last time they [failed] to fixed the tailgate . This is a serious safety concern in that the tailgate can open unexpectedly while the vehicle is moving allowing the cargo to spill out into moving traffic. Please issue a safety recall immediately. Nissan knows this is a problem and will not act on it! I stopped at the local police department and explained what happen. I went to the police to see if anyone picked up any of my tools I lost and gave them to the police. Not a single tool was turned in. I lost several hundred $$ of tools due to the tailgate opening. Thankfully, I don't believe it caused any one to damage their vehicle.
Vehicle began shutting down on the freeway. I hooked up an obdii sensor and it detected a turbo code. Took my vehicle for warranty work on 12/23/23. Dealer refuses to fix warranty issues. Trying to add on additional repairs that aren't needed. I have pictures of my own obd2 sensor showing dtc p00af, indicating turbo actuator or high pressure turbo charger that is specifically detailed in quality action campaign bulletins issued 01/06/2023. Reference: pc919, pc920. Manny villegas claims no such codes detected. But he wants me to replace fuel pump and fuel sending unit. This guy also wants me to pay $250 for a full diagnostics and add other issues that are not covered by warranty. Per Nissan warranty process, "warranty repairs will be made at no charge for parts and/or labor, including diagnosis and tax. " now they say the catalytic converter is damaged and needs to be replaced with costs in excess of $15,000. However, I the vehicle was passed smog check in September. In addition they are saying to begin work, I need to pay 70% of the cost by Wednesday or they begin charging storage fee of $50 a day. And still have not addressed warranty issues.
Twice after a rain I've found substantial amount of water leaking from the driver side, left side dashboard near the ebrake peddle and under steering wheel. The inside padding around the frame is soaked. It appears it could be broken windshield seal or leaking sunroof. I also have video.
I currently have a 2023 Nissan Titan pro-4x 4wd that intermittently when slowing to a stop between the speeds of 0-7mph it will, at times, feel as though the transmission is dropping from 3rd gear to 1st gear without cycling into 2nd gear properly creating almost a bumping effect to where it feels like you are almost being bumped from behind. Like being rear-ended at a very slow speed. There is a difference in slowing to a stop and it cycles properly which this truck will do the majority of the time and then when it does this hard skipping of the gear and feeling like it is being bumped. I have taken it to the dealership on numerous occasions and reported the concern and let them know that it feels that on the occasions that it shifts hard into that bump it will move forward a bit and that I do not feel comfortable that it may not be an issue with the brakes as well. The dealership has not been able to replicate it to the extent that we are reporting it because it can be so intermittent, and you would need to drive it a bit see when it happens that they keep telling us that they cannot replicate it and it is fine. They had a Nissan engineer come take a look and he could not replicate the exact "bump" feel so he said it is normal and said go ahead and drive it. I have had others in the vehicle, a salesman at the dealership, and others that have driven trucks before, and I have had numerous Titans prior to this one and none have ever done this and other say the same thing that this is an issue and likely with the transmission. I reached out to another mechanic, and he stated that it sounds like it definitely could be an issue that needs to be looked at and could cause a safety risk to myself or others if something happens and does not allow the vehicle to properly slow down or shift into gear properly. The dealership continues to tell me that since they cannot replicate the issue to just drive it. I have towing off.

From day one, it has had a hesitation on acceleration from both still and moving normal highway speeds. Rarely is acceleration steady, smooth and immediate. Dealer has had for regular oil change and this problem has been reported every time . Answer was that factory recall was performed and should be better. But no. Over a year now, several visits and nothing resolved. A couple times when I needed that immediate acceleration but with severe hesitation and a semi truck hitting his brakes and blowing horn I would call it a safety problem. Im not sure what work was preformed, assuming most time transmission but after research on computer there have been Nissans with engine components causing this. Please help. Where do I go from here?.
The sunroof exploded due to the high temperature.
Hello my truck exhaust manifold had a crack and was leaking exhaust fumes, the good thing there was a recall and Nissan dealership replaced it but now the other manifold is leaking carbon monoxide into my cabin making it on save to drive. I call the dealership but the recall is over and my truck dose not have warranty.

The driver assistance light keeps coming on. I get an error saying that the front sensors are blocked. It stops me from being able to use cruise control. I have to turn the truck of and then back on for it to go away but it always comes back.

Purchased this vehicle new 4/3/23. Specidically purchased this truck for towing as it has the built intergated goose neck for a 5th wheel attachment. Recently attempted to put the fifth wheel in to tow our camp trailer, it would not drop down far enough and lock on place on the truck, contacted the dealer and as well took the truck to 4 different businesses that specialize in hitches, only to advised by everyone that there is a factory defect in the trucks system with it being installed too high when holes were drilled thru the frame, the truck is not repairable for towing a fifth wheel or goose neck trailer and if towed as is could break loose causing a accident. It is a extreme safety if this is also occuring on other trucks and less experienced people do not have the knowledge to check things out.
We were driving on a local road doing approximately 35 mph when we heard a loud explosion sound and then loud exhaust sound. We stopped immediately and discovered that the front catalytic converter had completely separated/broke off from the exhaust system there was no prior indication of any problem it just broker apart as per pictures. Vehicle is in very good condition. And only has 38,000 miles on it. It was clear that there were defective welds on the catalytic converter as this should not have occurred. Nissan is not taking any responsibility for this. Vehicle has not been repaired as of today and is available for inspection of needed.
The instrument cluster on the dashboard and continuing down the center console, entertainment screen, heating/ cooling controls to the usb ports on my 2021 Nissan Titan. . The entire cluster of indicator lights, alarms, settings etc. Create a dangerous element of distraction never experienced in my driving history. Take a look! please investigate the entire aray of the dash lights when illuminated at night. It's a truck not a boeing 747. These unproven driver aids provide nothing but discraction when attentiveness is what highway safety relies on from all motorists. As a side note: the crusise control on this Nissan vehicle does not control your speed. The mileage indicator before fuel runs out stops showing miles till empty at around 40 miles. Say you're traveling with a young child at night and you merely want an indication of miles till empty to determine if you should take the baby home and get fuel tomorrow or, if it's a more critical situation. There is a danger of distracted driving akin to texting while driving with this cluster of controls, warning lights and an aray of information indicators as distracting as I've found on this Nissan Titan. I should not have to "bone-up" on the owners manual to simply operate a motor vehicle.

I took my vehicle in due to the open recall their are two and they informed me that the recall on both can not be fixed until they get the software need to make the repair. Both recalls are related and need to be fixed together. I have contacted the dealer and no solution is available at this time.
The front door windows have both automatic down and automatic up. It has been my experience in the past when vehicles have the automatic up feature, they have a pressure/resistance sensor which stops the window from going any further and therefore not getting anything caught up in the window. These do not have that. You can hit the auto up button and hold hard pressure with your hand and they still roll up. This is a major problem just waiting to happen, especially to a child. What made me notice it was a spoiled rotten dog we have had her head in it, and I had hit the auto up button not realizing she was hanging out the window and it almost caught her up in it. She yelped and pulled back in just in the nick of time. This needs to be fixed by Nissan and soon before a child loses fingers, breaks a hand, or worse.
I placed my 2018 truck in park and left it running. Once I had retrieved my items from the truck, I stepped onto the running board and pushed the button to turn the truck off. It suddenly lunged forward, throwing me to the driveway. The truck proceeded to roll down my driveway, rolling over my foot, and across the street; hitting my neighbor's van. I sustained multiple injuries from being thrown to the driveway, my truck's front end was severely damaged, and my neighbor's van sustained damages. I feel all of this happened due to the recall of the 2020-2021 Nissan Titan for a roll away issue. I am out of pocket for deductibles to get my truck repaired and had to use my insurance to pay the claim for my truck and the damaged van. I feel this all due to a defect in the 2018 Nissan Titan crew max, that is evident in the recall of the 2021-2022 Nissan Titan.
Noticed electrical burning smell outside the previous day but could not find the source. In the morning found that the front, passenger door had caught fire and smoldered all night long burning to a crisp. Not sure the cause. The truck was last driven on Friday and sat all weekend until the problem was discovered Monday morning. The truck still runs and as far as I can tell everything except the speaker in the door is working and the passenger power seat which was also slightly burnt.

Unknown - while driving my vehicle several warning lights started popping up all at onces the lights on the dash where glitching. Then all the power to my dash an possibly other parts of vehicle lost connection. Vehicle wouldn't even show speed or what gear I was in. While I was driving with 2 small children in the truck. I immediately pulled over. I have since taken my vehicle to a dealership where it's been for a couple weeks. They where unable to give me an exact diagnosis so my warranty won't cover repairs yet. I now have to tow my vehicle 96 miles to a different dealership in hopes of getting it fixed. My 2017 truck will not even start now!!.
Back up camera is blurry and barley visible. Our family dog "bingo" was injured while backing up in the driveway.
Attempted to shift vehicle into four wheel drive high mode. 4wd error message appeared in center display, as well as traction control and abs warning indicators. 4wd was inoperative. Attempted to shift into four wheel drive high multiple times, with no success. Not sure if the traction control and abs warning indicators are actually indicating that these systems are inoperative or not. These warnings stay on after switching back to 2wd mode, and are only extinguished after the engine is shut off and restarted. I believe the lack of 4wd can be considered a safety issue depending on the weather conditions and where the vehicle is located when this failure occurs. Dealer confirmed issue, and is replacing the transfer case, under warranty. I did a bit of research on an internet forum covering this vehicle, and found that others have had this same issue, and it has been identified as a broken shift fork in the transfer case.
The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that the fuel gauge inaccurately displayed the fuel level as empty. The contact had to constantly refuel the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 186,000.
When I drive my truck under rain or wet road I have several incidents if my truck tires slip the truck goes out of control if I keep pressing the pedal. Is scary feeling specially because losing control under rain is to unsafe. I know it that on my dashboard the airbags warning is blinking is that has something to do with my incidents ? can you guys fix this problem thank you. Is raining season and I don't want to suffer injuries or death.
My Titan is a 4 door not 2, also I am not sure if these recalls I saw are related to the problems I am having but my light indicator (as in the pictures I provided) has come on twice I immediately turn it off and I wait for the engine to cool it gets really hot but it doesn't indicate any over heating on the dash indicators (it might just be me but it seems hot enough to be overheating) and once cooled I check the fluids and refill the oil as needed (coolant level been fine) but this has happened to me now 2 times in a 3 day period so I believe there is a leak. Also about my shifter I'm not sure if this applies but I have the shifter you can switch to manual (I've never switch to manual bc I don't know how to drive manual) but I have an issue with it just in automatic sometimes when I shift from park to drive it doesn't seem to switch from park to drive and the vehicle stays in the parked position while the shift is in drive and I have to shift back to park wait a second and then shift back into drive a second time before I get the truck into driving mode. I added some pictures of recalls that are for my year make and model truck that seem like the same issues I'm dealing with and wasn't sure if they applied to my vehicle and just got missed with the amount of owners it's had.
