The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Titan. The contact stated while driving at 10-15 mph, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to the independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel tank was lacking fuel. The contact refilled fuel in the fuel tank and was able to restart the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred several times while driving though the instrument panel fuel gauge displayed that there was a quarter of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. The contact became aware of NHTSA campaign number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other). The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
