The trunk wont unlock electrical problem through wire harness(its accessable) my safety and everyone else safety is in danger with these recalls that the dealer wont acknowledge on my 2007 Nissan Versa still in 2022. The problems are on all Nissan Versa models through 2007 - 2012 have been confirmed by dealer and my vehicle is a 2007 Nissan Versa hatchback and it says theres no recalls for my VIN which Nissan needs to be sued for this or actually fix there recalls. My vehicle has not been inspected by dealer, police, or insurance. But it has been checked by professional mechanics. No lights before problem started. Just came on out of no where airbag light never blinks just stays on solid after car is turned on. And the trunk worked just fine for 15 years until yesterday. The trunk has some electrical problem after mechanic inspected it. Fix these problems. My safety is in danger and so is everyone else.

12/27/2021 Nissan headquarters call and a case number 45372007 given on12/21/21 after speaking with a sandra while at the Nissan repair location in rivergate/madison, TN. Call from nathaniel from Nissan headquarters in franklin, TN regarding air bag system. Replacement as part of recall warning light complaint and case filed. Air bag warning light came on 12/19/21, diagnostic 12/21/21 air bag control system needed replacement. Clock spring was replaced October 2019, 15 months after recall issues on takata air bag system and full replacement completed 7/26/2018. Nissan cannot cover costs due to mileage on car. I noted wanting to have this on record that these issues began after the recall on air bags and replacement in 2018. 615-725-7000 12/31/21 car air bag issue repaired then air bag light would pop on 2 more times, once in January 2022 in which they said they forgot to ‘clear codes” and then in February 2022 when other issues surfaced, another part replaced. Then light pops on again 3/15/2022 and I notified the service advisor with Nissan who’d been helping me and took the car in the following week. I have already paid for repairs to the clock spring in October 2019 between $530-$600 and the repair done 12/31/21 totaling over $1000 which includes the diagnostic fee, parts and labor. $1600 is just the bare minimum of what's been paid out. 3/30/2022: Nissan Versa 2010 was dropped off again at Nissan of rivergate/hayes Nissan due to air bag warning light coming on again. They are running another diagnostic. This has been a continual and consistent issue since the air bag recall and replacement in July 2018. I have paid for the clock spring to be replaced October 2019 and now other parts and many trips to this Nissan for a “fix. ” which now they are saying I may have to possibly pay again. This is unacceptable and seems that there may be other consumers dealing with this issue. Something is wrong with this recall and replacement causing these issues of safety.

Repaired in October 2019 after air bag light came back clock spring replaced, I paid out of pocket. 2021 air bag light on again: whole other issue with air bag system, I paid out of pocket again. And I have to let them know to make sure parts are put back correctly. Some areas appear to be cracked near windshield due to the work, but I know that will be hard to prove with them. Air bag light came back on-again January 2022, they initially said it was that they didn't reset the sensors. Took car back, they reset. 2/3/22 air bag light came on again now a new part is being worked on 2/28/22. This has been an issue with the airg bag recall.

Turned on my car that day and air bag lights stay blinking all the time for driver and front passenger.

I bought this new vehicle and I am the first owner. Two months ago, the airbag light is on and the system said the front passenger seat airbag is disabled even though my wife is siting on the front passenger seat. It seems that the airbag system cannot detect someone is siting on the passenger seat. I took this Nissan Versa to the dealership in columbia, mo (joe machens Nissan), and the staff told me that the sensor under front passenger seat doesn't work, which means the airbag will not work if accident happen. It's very dangerous. The staff also told me that this is not under warranty. When I brought this new vehicle, the contract said in the first 35000 miles, it's "bumper to bumper" warranty, which covers everything in the vehicle. Now my vehicle has only 34000 miles but they refused to follow the warranty. I has passed two months, no one contact me to solve this issue. My wife and I lived a anxiety-ridden life in the past two months. Considering the safety issue, I am going to repair it in joe machens Nissan at my own expense on 12/20/2021 because they refuse to cover it under warranty.

I do not live in the salt snow states my coils snapped my wheel almost flew off and the dealer is very difficult.

Backing up out of a parking space the lights started flashing cruise control air bag horn started blowing whole dash lit up when I straightened the vehicle the horn stopped. Got to my destination backed up a few feet as soon as I turned the wheel and attempted to put it in drive the airbag deployey. I did not hit anything. The airbag deployed for some unknown reason. Fearful car might catch fire very startling called 911 fire dept disabled battery had the vehicle towed and reported the issue to Nissan. I also reported this on Sunday after it happened.

I stopped at an atm when I backed out of space cruise control lights started flashing horn going off air bag light flashing passenger door clicking. Made it to store parked car got horn to stop. When I backed up out of space and turned wheel air bag deployed. Lights flashing horn sounding alarms. Turned off vehicle call 911 fire department came to see if no danger of fire and if I was ok. Called ins company set up cv claim because air bag deployed for no apparent reason hit me in the chest possibly due to electrical something malfunctioned. Police also came but said I did not need to report anything because I did not hit anything. Called geico had vehicle towed and because air bag deployed they created a claim. Had vehicle towed to firestone but they were closed today adjuster from insurance company coming out tomorrow 892021 to assess damage and repairs needed.

Airbag inflator recall was repaired but the airbag light on the dash did not go off or clear, further diagnostic tool showed airbag sensor was flashing and broken clock spring was listed on diagnostic sheet. Nissan dealership did not repair the airbag sensor or change or fix clock spring therefore still being a safety hazard during deployment, which can lead to metal fragments breaking and bursting thru causing possible threat by shooting metal fragments to car occupants. Nissan airbag recalled the inflator for the specific reason of repairing it completely free of possible injury from metal fragments breaking during deployment and Nissan did not repair it. The recall states dealership is not to release vehicle until successful inspection. It is not repaired and still poses the same threat the recall states. It's now reported as fixed to manufacture, stating zero recalls. The 97. 7 million dollar lawsuit amended requirements sept 2017 for dealership to repair to full inspection regulations. Dealership should fix the clock spring free because it directly impacts deployment of airbag and inflators. It's been a little over 30 days since recall repair, how can I get help making Nissan dealership responsible to replace clock spring?.

About 6 months ago my driver air bag light came on. We told shortly after that their is a recall on that exact thing I have been but still get no. I am worried as it now is flashing instead of steady.

Well driving I notice a car without brake lights on stopped in front of me not moving. Quickly going to brake. . I had no brakes I pushed again and turned right. Almost inches to hitting a gas pump. Thankfully bumps and bruises . I was renting the vehicle from indiana driving to new hampshire to florida. I almost lost my life. I also got charged an extra rental day since I was told to await a call. I'm not sure who's at fault whether it is a master cylinder problem or bolt in steering. Please help me. I have been stuck in fla not able to get home. I feel this should be checked into.

There is a recall regarding my airbags #b2tp-3vl and Nissan refuses to provide me with a loaner vehicle. My recall notice says that they have to provide me with a loaner vehicle. Italked to the dealer and to the Nissan corporate office and nobody will help. I cannot afford to take time off of work nor spend my day off at the car dealership as I watch my grandchildren over the weekends.

Before we can get the car fixed while the airbag recall was in effect, while driving the car caught on fire.

The manufacturer had been notified of the recall and offered no assistance. The contact had not experienced a failure. The recall had yet to be serviced.

The front airbag is not functioning properly. Because of the steering I almost had an accident, my wheel didn't want to turn. The brakes always make noise.

My daughter was involved in an accident going approximately 30 miles per hour. She and a chevy silverado were traveling in opposite directions when their traffic signals both turned yellow. Thinking she was going to stop, he pulled out in front of her causing her to t-bone his truck. Though she hit head on, not a single air bag deployed. The impact was enough that her car has been deemed a total loss and she suffered a concussion. She was not wearing a seat belt unfortunately.
