Brake Abs Warning Light Problems of Nissan Versa

Every single day multiple times a day my abs light comes on cars transmission jerks around or whatever it is. I have to pull over and turn vehicle off and restart to drive again. I may have to do that a few times in a mile. I think it's a safety concern. It could be in motion or stopped car wants to lunge forward.

Engineering flaw on Nissan's behalf. Water collects into the vehicles cabin and undercarriage and affected the electrical harness so much that it affected the braking system and abs light to come on. I lost braking power and could of had a serious accident. My whole electrical harness is non existent at this point. The car is not driveable at this point. Their have been numerous complaints about this and it's unsafe to drive. Nissan needs a lifetime recall on this or needs to refund our money back. I've contacted Nissan consumer affairs in hopes to get some reconciliation, but that remains to be seen.

The vehicle was shifted into drive and the abs light came on and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle had to be steered into a curb to stop it before it entered oncoming traffic. This vehicle also hesitates upon turning which is a hazard while driving.

I left work at 11:30 pm and as I proceeded to stop sign my brakes failed and no abs lights came on . , I was pushing all the way down I am lucky I made it home safely . I went to the dealership and my master cylinder failed . I did some research and other 2013 Versa had the same issues and theses cars was assembled in mexico with the VIN 3n1 . I just came back from a long trip from new jersey I just thank god my brakes didn't fail on the interstate I could have of been killed . Something needs be done before someone gets killed.

I was driving down the highway, when I saw sparks fly on the left hand side of road beside my car, the abs light and another light came on the dashboard and immediately went away when I braked and pulled off highway. I checked tires and everything appeared okay. Drove approximately 10 more miles, heard a loud pop under the hood, car and lights shut down completely. Pulled off the highway, opened hood and battery was on fire. Vehicle has original battery and mileage around 51,000. Called fire department to extinguish fire and they said something like that shouldn't have occurred on a vehicle that was pretty new.
