Three problems related to steering rack have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Steering rack makes loud noise when making tight turns and/or when breaking on bumpy roads. Unrelated, left strut failed at 13,500 miles and had to be replaced.
While driving on rough surface roads and making turns the vehicle's steering rack makes noise and brakes fail intermittently.
When making sharp right hand turns into parking lot that's not level the consumer hears steering rack noise. Nlm.
