While driving smoke began to pour out of the engine, the consumer pulled over and opened the hood and the engine was engulfed in flames claim # 53-c745-067. Nlm.

While driving pressed on accelerator pedal and vehicle hesitated. Noticed white smoke in the rear of vehicle. Checked side mirrors & noticed flames. Stopped & turned vehicle off. Fire department called & put flames out. Vehicle towed to dealership. Mechanic indicated a spark caused fuel pump to ignite & the electrical wires burned. Wiring harness, anti-lock brake sensors, fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel tank were all damaged.

Consumer noticed liquid dripping on the garage floor, the consumer placed a rag under the vehicle, when backing out of the garage the rag attached to the axle and the driver noticed there were no brakes and was notified by a passers-by the the vehicle was on fire, the engine wiring harness was heavily damaged and the brake sensor wire burned, claim # 42-1330-502. Nlm.

Engine cuts off while driving. It has happenned numerous times. I've had it to the dealer twice for this. They say they cannot find the problem and nothing has been done to fix this. Also, at times, there is a momentary loss of power to the wheels while pressing the accelerator. Dealer cannot find this problem either. Mileage at first failure, date of first failure and failure speed are approximate.
While driving vehicle dies, but the engine is still idling low. There is no response from accelerator.

When traveling at any speed the vehicle will jerk and cut off without prior warning. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has replaced parts, problem still occurs. Please provide any further details.
Someone else we know in our family had same problems with their van,they had to trade it off!!!!!. No safety defect listed.

A gas odor on the outside and inside cabin of the vehicle makes the occupants sick. The cause and location of the odor is undetermined, even though the dealership serviced the vehicle 3 times.
