3 Alternator/generator/regulator problem

This vehicle has had problems ever since it was new. I have had major components replaced and it isnt even paid for yet. The alternator was replaced when it had less than 4,000 miles on it. The wipers still come on by themselves inexplicably - sometimes the key is not even in the ignition! they still have not remedied that problem. The major complaint I have is the engine. I truly believe this is a dangerous vehicle. I had the oil galley plug recall done (supposedly) and in September I had to have a head gasket job done on this van. In the recall it states, and I quote "in certain vehicles, the engine cylinder head oil galley plug does not seal properly and engine cylinder head oil is not adequately retained. Well, they tried to tell me the two repairs were unrelated. I disagree. If my recall was done properly, then why do my records indicate I complained of oil leaks after that recall was done? and if oil was leaking from the oil galley plug, wouldnt that cause breakdown of the head gasket over time? it would. Now the latest: yesterday, February 26, 2000, the engine began sputtering and the check engine light came on (I had 1/2 tank of gas). I had to have it towed, once again, to have it worked on. This van has been in the shop more than it has been on the road. I could not, in good conscience, ever sell it to someone else. So now I feel like I am stuck with a piece of garbage. I would like reimbursement for the expense of repairs, plus what it has cost me in renting a vehicle to drive while they repaired this lemon.
