Four problems related to engine oil leaking have been reported for the 1997 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
We brought the vehicle in thinking it was just an oil leak, only to find out that it was a blown head gasket. The mechanics showed us the actual part and recommended we file complaint. In their opinion, clearly a factory defect. This is a 1997 Plymouth Voyager with only 41,000 miles!.
Engine started to leak oil. Then, took vehicle to dealer where they found out oil was coming from engine head gasket, and at once was replaced.
Has oil leaking form the head gasket. Dealer has agreed to fix it once the consumer pays $200 deductible. Vehicle was purchased 3 months ago.
Engine oil leak due to blown engine head gasket. Thumping from rear of vehicle. Silencer pads and straps replaced on gas tank. Still thumps. Brakes: howling from rear brakes. Pads/mastercylinder and springs replaced.
